Pedulla: Milan launch a new attempt for Napoli winger and discover €20m+ asking price

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made an attempt to sign winger Adam Ounas from Napoli but have been met by a high asking price, according to a report.

Alfredo Pedulla (via MilanNews) confirms Di Marzio’s report last night and FootMercato’s from earlier today in claiming that attempt was made this morning before noon to check the availability of Ounas via a phone call.

Napoli’s response was firm, as they requested for €18m plus bonuses to sell him which would end up being a total above €20m. It serves a further confirmation that for Luciano Spalletti the presence of the ex-Crotone loanee is very important, as recently declared by the coach, and only a large offer could change the situation.

Ounas spent the second half of last season on loan at Crotone, racking up 4 goals and 3 assists in 15 appearances as one of their only bright spots as they failed to avoid relegation back to Serie B.

  1. Ounas is a very good player, I don’t understand why he doesn’t play more at Napoli. But the asking price is bit high, 7M is the right value.
