Sandro Tonali left AC Milan in the summer before last, and fans are still mourning his departure, given he offers a lot of what the Rossoneri are currently believed to be lacking.
The move to Newcastle was understandable for the player, and the North East club were firmly on an upward trajectory. However, his departure left the majority annoyed about the management, especially considering the departure of Paolo Maldini happened in the same summer.
In a short period of time, the Diavolo had lost a hero of themselves on and off the pitch, and whilst the finances greatly helped to improve the squad as a whole, there was a Tonali-shaped hole in the midfield, which arguably remains to this day.
However, there is a glimmer of hope that the midfielder will return one day, and on his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti stated his confidence about a return home, and his words have been relayed by Pianeta Milan.
“Tonali is the great regret of the Milanisti. They all think of it as an old heart that will sooner or later return. They asked me once again, but is Paolo Maldini back? Is Sandro Tonali back? The same question they often ask me. It’s incredible.
“Same thing for Tonali, although I would bet that sooner or later he will return to Milan, but I don’t know when. In my opinion, Tonali’s next transfer will be from Newcastle to Milan, I’m sure”.
We all hope for that. Eventually.
Newcastle also hopes that Tonali returns to Milan.
They wish there was a 90-day money back guarantee clause in his transfer because in almost a year and a half, they have gotten nothing in return for the 64 million they gave Milan.
Many of us here hope as well
Tonali. Ricci
Pulsic. Maldini. Leao
Camada
Could this be AC Milan 25/26…….
Let’s not hold our breath
No, this love story ended the moment Gerry and the RedTurds decided to cash in and made it clear that even die hard boyhood fans/players don’t mean sh*t to them and it’s all about the Benjamins.
Still, he’s miles better than any of these 90 million wastes we currently have in midfield.
He sacrificed for the greater good, that is something that a true Milan fan will do, you are taking the wrong perspective.
I’m not taking his perspective which was noble, I am taking this club’s ownership perspective. Inter issued hands off warning for Barella and they even extended his contract. That’s how you build your core. Us? Well it’s quite clear what kind of path we’re taking.
It take 2 to tangled. They didn’t forced him out. Milan took the opportunity so did Sandro. That’s the reality.
Maybe you started watching Milan yesterday so you don’t know. But they did force him lol.
it’s loser mentality,
if an offender ask u to leave your girl or your money, what u will choose?
i will take 3rd option, fight back
We are waiting for him arms wide open
Tonali would be a real addition to Milan, as at least it is giaranteed he would fight and run for the shirt. But is Gerry ready to pay a good sum to get him? Otherwise Milan will have to wait until 2027 to get him at a discount.
We gotta let that one go. They never come back the same as before.
I don’t believe he will return to Milan. He will be to expensive for us. Maybe when he turns 35 year old.
wont happen i would do everything to get sandro back beacuse he is better and what i mean by better miles better than any of our dry midfielders
Tonali Ricci Barella make for a hell of a midfield for La Nazionale. We could have two of the three… Has anyone checked the temperature in hell? HAs it dropped yet?
Apparently it’s Frattesi, Ricci and Tonali combo that works best, keeping Barella out for now…based on Spaletti’s choices of course. But I’d like to see Barella Tonali and Ricci more though.
Tonali is too big for AC Jeri, he’s there for kind of Madrid
AC Jeri will be happy enough to get Betis bench-warmer Cardoso/ some overated young from France for Tonali role
