Pellegatti believes Tonali will eventually leave Newcastle for Milan: “I’m sure”

Sandro Tonali left AC Milan in the summer before last, and fans are still mourning his departure, given he offers a lot of what the Rossoneri are currently believed to be lacking.

The move to Newcastle was understandable for the player, and the North East club were firmly on an upward trajectory. However, his departure left the majority annoyed about the management, especially considering the departure of Paolo Maldini happened in the same summer.

In a short period of time, the Diavolo had lost a hero of themselves on and off the pitch, and whilst the finances greatly helped to improve the squad as a whole, there was a Tonali-shaped hole in the midfield, which arguably remains to this day.

However, there is a glimmer of hope that the midfielder will return one day, and on his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti stated his confidence about a return home, and his words have been relayed by Pianeta Milan.

“Tonali is the great regret of the Milanisti. They all think of it as an old heart that will sooner or later return. They asked me once again, but is Paolo Maldini back? Is Sandro Tonali back? The same question they often ask me. It’s incredible.

“Same thing for Tonali, although I would bet that sooner or later he will return to Milan, but I don’t know when. In my opinion, Tonali’s next transfer will be from Newcastle to Milan, I’m sure”.

  1. Newcastle also hopes that Tonali returns to Milan.
They wish there was a 90-day money back guarantee clause in his transfer because in almost a year and a half, they have gotten nothing in return for the 64 million they gave Milan.

  2. No, this love story ended the moment Gerry and the RedTurds decided to cash in and made it clear that even die hard boyhood fans/players don’t mean sh*t to them and it’s all about the Benjamins.

Still, he’s miles better than any of these 90 million wastes we currently have in midfield.

      1. I’m not taking his perspective which was noble, I am taking this club’s ownership perspective. Inter issued hands off warning for Barella and they even extended his contract. That’s how you build your core. Us? Well it’s quite clear what kind of path we’re taking.
