Pellegatti: Calhanoglu’s time at Milan over as he fails to respond – management working on replacements

Hakan Calhanoglu’s time at AC Milan looks all set to come to an end as the playmaker has not responded to Milan’s latest and best offer, it is claimed.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti (via MilanNews) has given an update on the Calhanoglu situation and has confirmed that the No.10’s time with the Rossoneri is ‘now at the end’. Calhanoglu has not been heard from and he has not yet given his response to the most recent offer Milan table, while he is at a training retreat with the Turkey national team.

He adds that there are confirmations that the offer from Qatar is true, perhaps not at the €8m signing bonuses plus €24m net over three years reported, but the offer from Qatar is there. Milan will go their own way and they are now looking for potential substitutes. Regarding interest in Rodrigo De Paul, Pellegatti said he is ‘very cautious’ about the Udinese star.
