Pellegatti: Milan consider young midfielder Pobega to be unsellable – player to fight for spot

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan consider midfielder Tommaso Pobega to be absolutely unsellable and he is part of the club’s long-term plans, a journalist has claimed.

Speaking on his YouTube channel (via MilanLive), Carlo Pellegatti spoke about the future of Pobega, who has returned to Milan after a successful loan spell with Spezia. He impressed in the first preseason friendly of the summer as the Rossoneri ran out 6-0 winners against Pro Sesto.

Pellegatti confirms that the 22-year-old is not transferable for Milan, labelling him an ‘intelligent and humble guy’, and despite being more of a mezzala he had a positive game against Pro Sesto in the double pivot.

He could leave on loan but will not be definitively sold, while Pobega wants to fight for a place in the team and the management consider him an interesting profile not only for the future but possibly for now too. To raise cash through sales, other players will leave.

  1. Milan can sell Hauge, but NO for Pobega. Milan can send him for 1 more year loan by taking Bakayoko. Losing Locatelli and Pessina was bad decisions.

  3. Pobega can replace Hakan. Pobega and Brahim enough for trequartista position. Please keep him and Hauge as well. I would sell rather Leao for 30M, he did already prove…
