Pellegatti: Milan hoping to close two signings soon then ‘work on new names’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to secure the return of two players before moving on to other market operations, a journalist has claimed.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti (via MilanNews) spoke about Milan’s market strategies and confirmed that the club are after two full-backs – one for each side – plus a new central midfielder, playmaker and a winger too.

He adds that the impression is that ‘something is being done to build something’ with names like Tiemoue Bakayoko doing the rounds, but soon Milan are expected to close the returns of Brahim Diaz and Tonali.

For the other targets it will be necessary to wait and this is the moment when so much untrue news is circulating. He mentions that there are ‘no big names to date’ but closing Tonali and Brahim ‘would allow them to work on profiles like full-backs and thus gradually insert the various pieces and go to work on new names as well’.
