Pellegatti: Maldini ‘preparing everything’ as Milan’s mercato ‘will light up from January 20th’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s mercato activity should heat up towards the end of the month of January, according to the well-known journalist Carlo Pellegatti.

Pellegatti spoke in his YouTube channel (via NotizieMilan) and gave an update on the Rossoneri’s current transfer plans. He started by revealing his hope that Milan try and sign Bremer from Torino ahead of next season, even if there will be a very tough battle with rivals Inter.

Of course it will be necessary to understand what the management are thinking about the centre-back position moving forward too given that Fikayo Tomori will be back in a month and Simon Kjaer will be fit again in the summer, while Alessio Romagnoli could renew or leave on a free transfer.

Pellegatti remarked that the Rossoneri’s January mercato ‘will light up from January 20th’ because Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ‘preparing everything’ now but ‘concrete moves’ should arrive in a ‘very hot end of January’.

  1. For this season maybe Omeragic is possible. Bremer only of we buy out Pellegri.
Summer is still more important. If we continue with 4231 Romagnoli better leave. He is good but not in that system.
Plus of course striker must come.
