AC Milan will not sign Jesus Corona from Porto before the window shuts because the pursuit has become too complicated, according to Carlo Pellegatti.
Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel (via MilanNews) about the situation surrounding Corona and whether he could in fact join Milan before Tuesday is over, but he presented a negative update, at least for those who want the Mexican at the club.
He claims that Milan will not take Corona because it is ‘too complicated’ to complete there negotiation with Porto, therefore the management have already accepted that they cannot land the 28-year-old.
Except for any late surprises, there are now two remaining candidates in Romain Faivre of Brest and Junior Messias of Crotone, with the former clearly favoured.
It comes after Nicolo Schira reported a few hours ago that Corona’s entourage are at the Prince of Savoy hotel in Milan waiting for updates on the situation, with the player having an agreement in principle with Milan over a four-year contract.
