Pellegatti: Monaco man to join Milan in next 48 hours – Vlasic talks difficult despite €29m bid

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face a very difficult negotiation if they are to complete the signing of Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow, according to one journalist.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti (via MilanNews) confirmed that a couple of operations are close to being completed as Chelsea and Milan have completed a deal for Olivier Giroud, who will be in Italy later today.

The other signing that is close to getting over the line is left-back Fode Ballo-Tourè of Monaco, who is almost a Milan player now. The negotiation is being finalised and the final details have been defined, meaning that within 24-48 hours he should arrive.

Then there is the Nikola Vlasic case, who is the man the Rossoneri management are eyeing to take the number 10 spo, but CSKA are not interested in the €5m loan plus €20m obligation to buy in case of qualification for the Champions League and €4m of bonuses offered by Milan.

Milan need to pay €30m cash as that’s what the Russian club would like, as well as to sell him definitively, but the Diavolo do not want to invest this money all together. It may be that Vlasic may later become a possibility later in the market.

  1. “ Vlasic may later become a possibility later in the market.”

    Why?

CSKA don’t need the money and he has a contract there; they’ve no need to sell.
