Journalist Carlo Pellegatti has put forward the idea that Jesse Lingard of Manchester United could be AC Milan’s trequartista signing.
The issue that continues to dominate the media headlines and the discussions among the fan base is Milan’s search for a new attacking midfielder, given there is less than two weeks remaining in the transfer window.
According to Pellegatti (via MilanGuys), Milan are still working on the right name to replace Hakan Calhanoglu and they are searching for the right profile both from a technical point of view but also an attacking one too.
He claims to have been told about a player who would like to leave Manchester United in Jesse Lingard, a player that fits the reported identikit of a trequartista who can play between the lines or on the right wing.
“Will it be him? I don’t know, but it’s a name we could discuss and talk about,” he said. Last season, Lingard managed 9 goals and 4 assists in 16 Premier League games on loan at West Ham.

Let’s also check his stats from 2019:
– 28 games. 0 goals. 0 assists
This is exactly what we need. Just imagine this partnership:
Krunic – Lingard – Castillejo
It is good we have stupid people to give stupid comments. Thank you!

Even better having intelligent people offering such an intelligent commentary. You’re very welcome.
Why have you chosen 2019? It clearly doesn’t suit your shallow argument to mention the 9 goals and 4 assists in 16games last season.
Well go buy him for your own fantasy team then, what’s the problem.

Why are you making jest of my darling team and management…we don’t need him and moreover this is just a suggestion…#NoToLingard
Only on loan.
