MN: Milan hold talks with Pellegri’s agent over exit – the solution that could satisfy everyone

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a meeting between Pietro Pellegri’s agent and the AC Milan management at the club’s headquarters on Monday, with a couple of interesting ideas emerging.

MilanNews writes that two concrete offers have arrived for the 21-year-old striker who joined on loan from Monaco with an option to buy, namely from Torino and Genoa who are both looking for an extra striker.

Milan’s current thought is regarding the idea of buying him at a lower amount than the option to buy agreed with Monaco and then sending him out on loan. The solution is one that gets the green light from Pellegri, who has been injured a lot this season but would find himself behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud in the packing order anyway.

The first meeting was held yesterday, while in the next few days there will be other discussions to define the situation and find the best solution for the Italy U21 international.

  1. I don’t know why a pert of me thinks we should sign this guy. Maybe it’s because he’s so young and has a chance at redemption.

  2. This guy should be proving himself somewhere in Serie B right about now. So far he’s been useless for the entire career & he will not get any better by sitting on the bench.

Let’s take a look at statistics & statistics never lies:
    – Club: 39 games / 5 goals
    – Italy: 31 games / 2 goals

    Verdict: Avoid.

    1. I think he is on loan at us only because hes from famed Monaco youth system.

He has terrible stats for a forward. Initially I was ok with the idea of buying him, but then i looked his stats in detail and hes not progressing.

      Better buy Agustin Alvarez.
