Pellegri: "I will work hard to earn my money, trust and reward those who wanted me"

New signing Pietro Pellegri has sent a heartfelt thank you to AC Milan for showing faith in him and bringing him to the club.

A statement on the club’s official website earlier today announced that Pellegri has joined the Rossoneri on a loan with option to buy which becomes an obligation upon the achievement of certain conditions. He will also be the first ever No.64 in Milan’s history.

Speaking on his Instagram profile, Pellegri commented on his arrival and showed his appreciation for the faith the Rossoneri have shown.

“I want to thank the AC Milan club, the Directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and all the people who immediately believed in me. I will work hard to earn my money, trust and reward those who wanted me, allowing me to wear this shirt with all your history. A great club like Milan, with all its past and present champions, always deserves the best.”
