Milan Futuro’s struggles in Serie C continued as they were well beaten 4-1 by the league leaders Pescara on Thursday night.
Daniele Bonera’s side managed to get a 2-2 draw against Arezzo before the international break so the hope was that they could build on that for what was a tough encounter on paper.
However, a scoreline of 3-0 at half-time meant that the game had been lost fairly early on. Pierozzi opened the scoring after eight minutes, then Tonin and Merola struck in quick succession to put Pescara in command.
Turco scored early in the second half to threaten a comeback, though Bartesaghi’s own-goal ten minutes later once again killed the contest.
The Rossoneri must dust themselves down because they are back in action on Sunday afternoon at home against Sestri Levante, while sitting third-bottom in the table.

Bonera, you have to go. Abate we miss you.
Torriani, hero of preseason against big team, why.
Have you ever seen any team whose coach is a defender and does well? Look very well most of the best team in history anytime, anywhere and anyday has always been mostly managed by a ex-midfielders in their playing days! It’s obvious this management knows nothing about criteria to inspire and transfer winnings mentality to a team…Bonera is a clown as a coach…change him and put a better coach with a clear vision of the game…
Klopp was a defender.
Yep, and Trap,
Thank you for this.
The iconic Giovanni Trappatoni another cb who did enormously well as a manager. Revolutionized the game of defence too as a manager.
Let’s see
Laurent blanc legendary cb coach of psg did well
Der Kaiser Franz Beckenbauer iconic cb coach of both Germany and bayern did enormously well.
Didier Deschamps legendary cb coach of France did enormously well
Rijkaard greatest DM of the game who could also play effectively as a cb coached Barca did well.
And this is to mention a few. Past Cb do well in coaching positions, just because it’s not well known does not mean no cb has ever been a good manager.
Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann?
Them too.
Like i said multiple CBS have been coaches and done well.
I feel sorry for our youth takented player on that team. Zeroli, bartesaghi and Camarda. It is not healthy for them to loose every game and it dosnt help them to develop. They need success.
Federico Guidi should swap positions with Bonera! This is becoming a major embarrassment!
