Milan secured their long-awaited return to Champions League this evening as they beat Atalanta by two goals to nil in the end. For the club, this is positive in many aspects but above all, it will be easier to keep their stars.
Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu are two players that will expire at the end of June and Milan are yet to reach an agreement on the renewals. However, with UCL now in the bag, this should be a whole lot easier.
In fact, the No.10 even dropped a hint on his Instagram page as he published a photo of himself with the new shirt and the captain ‘We are back’. Obviously, he’s referring to the Champions League, which he wants to take part in for sure.

Yes, he is inconsistent, but he had very good first half of the season which helped us to finish as runner ups. There for i thank him and he could stay.
