Hakan Calhanoglu published a story on Instagram earlier this morning and he sure got the reaction that he was hoping for, taunting the AC Milan fans. One of many similar actions by the midfielder since he left the club.
Calhanoglu left Milan on a free transfer back in 2021 and decided to join city rivals, which obviously didn’t go down well with the Rossoneri fans. Since then, the Turkish midfielder has taunted his former fans on numerous occasions and today he did it again.
On his Instagram page, he published a story that highlighted the fact that Milan only have one star (19 titles) while Inter have two (20 titles). As the video came to an end, he even replaced the team names with two stars vs. one star to really rub it in.
Of course, this is all part of the derby rivalry but the Milan fans will certainly greet the midfielder with a lot of whistles and harsh words tonight. Of course, Inter are the big favourites to win and could even make history by winning seven derbies in a row, so now the Rossoneri truly need to step up.
