Photo: Castillejo sends message to Musah after Milan move – ‘Enjoy the fans’

By Euan Burns -

Former AC Milan winger Samu Castillejo has spoken very highly of the Milan fans whilst sending a positive message to Yunus Musah upon his arrival in Italy.

Taking to Instagram, Castillejo shared a picture of Musah signing his contract on Friday and told him that he should enjoy the passionate fans.

“Brother, best of luck. You are at the best club to continue to grow. Enjoy those fans who are crazy for their badge with the passion that the red and black colours bring,” Castillejo wrote.

Castillejo now plays for Valencia which is the club that Musah has joined from, so it seems he will have been saying positive things to the American whilst the transfer was being negotiated.

    1. Never understood the hate. But then again I don’t understand the hate for most of our own players.

I’ll never forget the tears in the Verona game. We treated him so badly and then he scored. That goal helped us with the title. But still the fans hated him.

You’ve really got to wonder what the point is. Ah well looks like we have another 10 victims lined up for next season. Let the hate begin.

      1. When a club declares they don’t want you for 2 years you’d expect them to get the memo but he never got it, at the end of the day he was just sitting on the bench or injured getting all the money he wanted through that nice wage. You’ve got to move on at some point. Also may I add it’s quite ironic from you to complaining about hate when you’ve been criticizing this transfer window continuously, how about we wait until the season starts at least surely.

        1. You get there’s a difference between hating a system and hating people?

And hating a system that destroys people?

        2. PS The idea that a player like Castillejo could be left to rot for 2 years is precisely the issue. The idea that a manager couldn’t find a use for a player like that. And it happens so often. If managers were forced to make do they’d find a use. But unfortunately nowadays players are as disposable as fast fashion – really expensive fast fashion!

      2. Honestly, there will be more victims next season from the hands of those ungrateful fans that I don’t want to mention their names and 1 of them which would have been a very popular mention here that does nothing but to criticise LEAO has started already..

        1. Yea patience is defo needed with players especially in our project which is all about young players who are more upcoming, let’s hope everyone stays civil instead of screaming Pioli out after some friendly games I saw on twitter
