Olivier Giroud was the first player to arrive at France’s training camp this morning with two games on the cards. The veteran striker is most likely still beaming from his goalkeeping heroics against Genoa at the weekend.
A lot has been said about Giroud’s save already, but it’s clear that it was a confidence boost for the entire Milan team and not just for him. It was indeed a crucial win and the Rossoneri players called up for international duty can arrive at their respective national team with a good feeling.
Giroud was the first to arrive at France’s training camp, as confirmed by the national team’s official Twitter, and he looked to be in a good mood as always (see the photo below).
