Goncalo Ramos has decided to wear the No.9 shirt at AC Milan, which was made available by Niclas Füllkrug’s departure at the end of last month.
Milan announced the signing of Ramos on Tuesday this week, but there was no mention of a number in the statement. That said, it was pretty obvious that he would go for the No.9, seeing as Füllkrug made that available with his return to West Ham.

Photos of the shirt hanging in the Milan store have been circulating as confirmation, and you can also choose Ramos’ printing online. It’s a rather heavy shirt to wear at a club like Milan but at the same time, most would agree that Olivier Giroud put an end to the ‘curse’.

Considering the price tag, supposedly in excess of €70m, we can only hope that Ramos will get going on the pitch. He has done well with Portugal at the World Cup, so that could act as a very good confidence boost ahead of the Milan adventure.
