Photo: Milan and Inter handed blow as Sporting starlet signs five-year deal

By Isak Möller -

Earlier today, Sporting announced that they have renewed the contract of Eduardo Quaresma. The 18-year-old, who plays as a centre-back, has been on the wish list of Milan and Inter.

This was reported by the Portuguese newspaper A Bola in late May, stating that the Rossoneri even presented a €10m offer for the defender. However, Sporting rejected it and decided to renew the contract instead.

The new deal will keep Quaresma at the club until 2025, giving Sporting all the leverage in any future transfer negotiations. Take a look at the announcement photo below.
