Photo: Milan in fifth place with eight players at the Euros – Inter at the top

AC Milan fans will be able to watch eight players in action during the Euros and while that is a decent figure, the city rivals Inter have even more. Indeed, taking a look at the teams in Italy, the Rossoneri are ‘only’ in fifth place.

The Euro 2024 is now just two weeks away and eight Milan players have been called up for international duty. The likes of Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao are just a few of them, all hoping to go all the way this summer.

As highlighted by Transfermarkt, Milan are in fifth place when taking a look at how many players have been called up. Inter, on the other hand, are convincingly first with a total of 13 players called up for the big tournament.

Bologna are perhaps a surprise on the list, coming in ahead of Milan with 9 players, but they have had a very good season as we all know. Another thing to note is that the Rossoneri don’t have a lot of Italians, with the likes of Alessandro Florenzi and Davide Calabria also not called up.
