Photo: Milan launch special edition of classic away shirt – proceeds will be donated

By Isak Möller -

In response to the ongoing way in Ukraine, AC Milan are launching a series of initiatives to raise funds for those in need. Among other things, they have revealed a special edition of their 2002/03 away kit.

The shirt is obviously quite famous, or recognisable if you wish, as Milan won the Champions League final against Juventus that season. Andriy Shevchenko scored the winning penalty and it’s his name on the back of the special edition shirt.

It’s available for pre-order on the store and you also have the option to donate an extra €15, €30 or €50. All the proceeds of the shirt will be donated to the Italian red cross to help support their project in Ukraine.
