Photo: How AC Milan’s starting XI would look with the reserves playing

AC Milan have started the season well, with three wins in three games, and will be looking to extend this winning streak after the break. However, with a hectic schedule, Stefano Pioli will have to rely on the depth.

It’s pretty clear that Milan have better depth than last season, but it doesn’t say that much given how poor the depth was then. The games after the international break, with seven of them in 22 days, will thus provide many answers.

Today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport added a photo of the Rossoneri’s XI with just the depth players, or the reserves if you like. The attack is probably the strongest department, but the defence and midfield are solid as well.

It remains to be seen if the forward trio will start to find their groove, mostly coming off the bench. Of course, given the hectic schedule they will get the chance from start as well.
