AC Milan goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari has expressed his delight at making his debut for Italy’s U21 side.

The 19-year-old is on loan at Livorno for the season but has not yet started for the Serie B side.

He is however very highly rated by both club and country, and took the field for the Azzurrini in their victory over Luxembourg.

Plizzari kept a clean sheet as his side ran out comfortable 5-0 winners, and took to Instagram to post the following message: “The first one is done !! Always an honor to play with this shirt 🔵🇮🇹🇮🇹 ”
