Rafael Leao has revealed on Twitter that he is in quarantine at the moment, a situation that effectively excludes the player from any possible call-up for the match against Shamrock Rovers.
In isolation, the Portuguese has not trained in recent days and will not be available for the Europa League match on Thursday night. All the other members of the team tested negative.
After the injury against Cagliari, Leao never returned to training with group and has not yet taken part in a session under the orders of Pioli.
MilanNews confirmed that Leao is at home, complying with protocols and is waiting for the ‘ok’ to resume training. When he returns, he will have to carry out a personalised training program in order to get fit and make up for the lost time. He’s set to miss the Europa League match.
