Photo: Tomori celebrates one-year anniversary at Milan – ‘And what a year’

Fikayo Tomori was brought in on an initial loan deal by AC Milan in January of 2021 and since then, he has been a key player for the club. The redemption from Chelsea, albeit significant, was never in doubt.

The Rossoneri paid €28m to the English side and Tomori has certainly repaid the trust. He’s currently injured and will thus miss the game between Milan and Juventus tomorrow, which would have been the perfect occasion to celebrate a special milestone.

In fact, it’s one year ago today that Milan decided to sign him on loan. This was highlighted by the centre-back himself on Instagram with the following captain: “A year ago today, and what a year”.
