The derby is less than one week away and it will be one of the most exciting editions in quite some time. AC Milan and Inter are both at the top of the table with 9/9 points and this was highlighted in today’s papers.
It will be the first derby with both teams at the top of the standings since 1962, which says a lot. Milan want revenge for the last four derbies, which all ended in losses, and will rely on their stars but also the new signings that arrived this summer.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following about the big game: “The ultimate derby. Inter and AC Milan with full points and in the lead alone. No other city in the big leagues has a clash of such a high level.”
