AC Milan’s first team hosted an in-house friendly against the Futuro at Milanello earlier today, aiming to keep their players in good condition.
As the international break is currently underway, the players who haven’t been called up are training at Milanello ahead of Napoli-Monday on Easter Monday. To make things a little more competitive, Massimiliano Allegri decided to host an in-house friendly.

It was first reported by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, stating that the Rossoneri would be up against Massimo Oddo’s Futuro side. The two teams started the training session together and then divided into teams, playing a less serious friendly game.
For a player like Santiago Gimenez, it was an opportunity to take another leap towards regaining match fitness. The Mexican hasn’t started in the league since October so any match time, even if at Milanello, is good match time for him.
