As the No.99 of Milan decided not to renew his contract, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara acted quickly on the market. Within just a few days, they secured the services of Mike Maignan from Lille for a fee of €13m.
Currently, the goalkeeper is part of France’s Euros squad and their first game will be against Germany on Tuesday. Hugo Lloris is the first-choice goalkeeper, while Maignan will have to battle it out with Steve Mandanda.
Maignan, as you can see below, posed in the French kit for some good pictures ahead of the opening. The tournament will kick off with Italy vs. Turkey this evening.
