AC Milan have identified the San Francesco area as one of the primary choices for their new stadium and the political process has already begun. However, not everyone is pleased with the project.
Gerry Cardinale has accelerated the stadium pursuit and wants to secure a site for the project very soon. San Donato, or more specifically the San Francesco area, appears to be the favourite for now (read our summary on the area here).
However, as captured by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it and Giovanni D’Elia, protesters have gathered in the area this morning to have their say on the proposed project. Some may be San Donato residents, but there are most likely also environmentalists present.

At this point it looks like someone in Italy just dose not want Milan to have their own stadium. So they are trying to sabotage them in any way posible. First all the problems with the mayor, now this.
Politician work , they want italian club rent stadium forever. This is why italian serie A fall behind EPL . Sesto are alternative location
