Piatek: “I was a fan of Arsenal as a child; my celebration?…”

AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has revealed that he supported Arsenal as a child, and told the story behind his famous celebration.

The Rossoneri’s man of success and phenomenon took part in a Q&A for Tuttosport with some kids where he surprised many when he revealed his past affection for the Gunners.

Milan’s Polish striker answered many question during the session about such topics as his childhood, his goal celebration and his experience of Italy so far.

When Piatek received the question which club he supported as a child, the Pole surprisingly answered Arsenal with the following motivation:

“I loved the style of Wenger and I admired players like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.”

When he was asked about his famous pistolero goal celebration, and and it’s origin, he said: “I did it after that I scored a goal once and from that moment it remained the same.

“It’s a habit now and it brings good luck so I am not going to change it. I see people go crazy for this celebration here in Italy.”
