Pioli admits Rebic has missed chances but assures: “He will be decisive again”

By Isak Möller -

As Milan’s overall form has dropped in the last few weeks, so has the quality of some of the key players. Ante Rebic is one of them, failing to replicate the second half of the season he experienced in the last campaign.

The Croatian played from start in both clashes against Red Star Belgrade and was responsible for a few chances squandered in both games. On Thursday evening, he was one of the worst Rossoneri players on the pitch.

Therefore, he will surely be keen to redeem himself – just like many of his teammates – as Milan will take on Roma away from home tomorrow. And seeing as he will get the chance over Rafael Leao, he must perform.

In his pre-match press conference, as cited by MilanNews, Stefani Pioli was asked about Rebic and the missed chances. He made it clear the Croatian will regain his form very soon, and we can only hope that he is right.

“He’s fine, in the last game and in Belgrade he was less precise than he usually is. The important thing is that he gets opportunities, he will be decisive again, he has the qualities to be that, he stated.

  1. To be honest not just rebic but almost every milan player including the captain who most highlighted and coach himself mr pioli are show very sh*t performance. Zlatan who usually become the source of inspiration also cant doing anything. So many things should be change, but because we cant buy a new player or sack pioli also not an option so the mentally problem which must the first to be fix, and the second is tactical but the time is very thin because if we not react fast enough the champion league goal is only a dream (again)

  2. It’s shouldn’t be Romanogli only it should cut across all the players if you lose form u get reduce to bench some seriousness will be on their side then.we really need this win tonight
    Forza Milan
