Pioli believes Milan must ‘find solutions’ to win ‘very difficult’ Atalanta game

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli believes that having a number of options on the bench will be crucial in what will be a ‘very difficult’ game against Udinese.

Interviewed by DAZN before the game, Pioli talked about the many options he has within his team given the likes of Charles De Ketelaere, Yacine Adli, Divock Origi, Alexis Saelemaekers and Olivier Giroud will start from the bench.

“Not only that, we have many potential starters. The important thing is that they are all well, we know that the challenge is very difficult,” he said (via MilanNews).

On the positions of the players: “It’s not what matters, the players have to be good at finding solutions based on the opponents. Today we have to do it under pressure and therefore it will be a much more important development.”

On the tactical schemes: “Atalanta are playing wing-backs and two strikers, I don’t think the positions we expected will change.”
