MN: Pioli considers Berardi the perfect signing – asking price set as Maldini reflects

AC Milan are looking at a potential upgrade for the right wing role and they are studying the possibility of making a move for Domenico Berardi, a report claims.

MilanNews writes that the Rossoneri management and Stefano Pioli like Berardi a lot because he has a profile that fully matches the requests of the head coach for a potential new right winger: the ability to score and assist, good in possession in 1v1 situations and willingness to sacrifice in helping defensively.

Sassuolo though always have a high asking price for their best players and their CEO Carnevali wants around €30m for the Italy international, and it is unlikely that Milan will be able to spend that amount.

However, the leaders are doing some reflecting on whether it might be simply too good an opportunity to strengthen in a key area and – depending on other operations in the market – there might be some possibility of finding a meeting point.
