Tuttosport: Pioli already thinking ahead to Spezia – the changes he is expected to make

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not have much time to enjoy last night’s win against Venezia as they must already think about Saturday’s game in La Spezia.

Four changes were made to the line-up from the draw over Juventus last night as Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia and Fode Ballo-Toure made their first starts of the season, while Ismael Bennacer came back into the midfield and Alessandro Florenzi got the nod on the right wing.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), several ‘starters’ will return to the eleven after they were rested against Venezia. Among these are Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez, while Franck Kessie should take the place of either Sandro Tonali or Ismael Bennacer.

Stefano Pioli will ask Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic to work overtime again with the trio having played a lot in the first part of the season due to injuries, while Alexis Saelemaekers should also get the nod again.
