Stefano Pioli brought the entire AC Milan staff together for a dinner last night to celebrate his contract renewal, according to a report.
According to what was reported on Sky Italia (via MilanNews), there was a dinner last night in a well-known restaurant in the centre of Milan which was organised and paid for by Stefano Pioli to celebrate his contract renewal.
All the members of his staff, the players and also the management of the club – including CEO Gazidis, Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara – were present.
Pioli has done an incredible job since he arrived at Milan in October of 2019, turning the situation around completely for the club. And earlier in the month, he was rewarded with a new contract.
The manager has signed a two-year renewal, until 2023, and there is also an option for an additional year. It had been reported for quite some time and it was only a matter of time, as hinted by sporting director Ricky Massara prior to the Atletico game.
