Pioli: “Ibrahimovic? Santa Claus arrives on December 25th”

On the eve of Bologna-Milan, Stefano Pioli spoke to the media at Milanello (via MilanNews.it), sharing his thoughts on the current situation for the Rossoneri. Of course, he was also asked about Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In recent weeks, the Swede has been heavily linked with a return to Milan, as the latter have struggled in attack. Pioli quickly played down the rumours, shifting focus to tomorrow’s encounter at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

“Ibrahimovic? Santa Claus arrives on December 25th, you have been talking about this since October. If I could imagine a gift today, it would be three points against Bologna,” the manager stated.

This morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) reported that Milan don’t have a plan B, meaning it’s Ibrahimovic or no one. Considering how the attack has performed thus far, they certainly need the 38-year-old’s experience and quality.

As mentioned, the Rossoneri will face Bologna away from home tomorrow. After an important win against Parma last time out, they will be looking continue on the same path. However, it won’t be easy, as the hosts have done well as of late.
