Later this month, AC Milan will take on the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and PSV Eindhoven to prepare for the second half of the season. And Stefano Pioli will only be without three of his starters for these games.
Training resumed at Milanello yesterday and the second session took place in the rain earlier today. Davide Calabria, Mike Maignan and Alexis Saelemaekers are still working individually but are expected to be available for the games.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will travel with the team to Dubai but he isn’t expected to get any playing time. Meanwhile, Simon Kjaer and Charles De Ketelaere will also take part as they have been knocked out of the World Cup already in the group stages.
The three starters that will be missing are Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud. Fode Ballo-Toure and Sergino Dest are also still at the World Cup but they aren’t considered as starters for the Rossoneri.

The only 3 starters he will be missing just happen to be the 3 best and most important players in the team
I think that would be a chance for some players and would reveal players who rely on these good players let’s see where all our players stand and the games are tight I think result doesn’t matter we want to see our team and improve and learn
I pray no injuries woes anymore till the end of the season
This is a sad fact for Milan. During major tournaments like World Cup, we’re supposed to be playing friendlies with the reserves as the first team players have international duties.
With only 3 starters missing, our beloved club is a long way back to the top
