AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will have to rely on Olivier Giroud exclusively once again for the game against Napoli on Sunday, a report claims.

MilanNews recalls how Pietro Pellegri left the club in January and Marko Lazetic was signed but he is yet to make a single appearance for the club, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic sustained an injury against Juventus and is not in contention to start against Napoli, so Giroud alone is keeping the Rossoneri’s attack afloat.
Pioli has never looked for excuses regarding injuries and the merits of the team’s growth over the past two seasons are largely his, but Sunday’s game against Luciano Spalletti’s side is one that can easily be classed as season-defining.
He will rely on Giroud from the first minute against and the Frenchman – who has 10 overall goals for the season – is still chasing his first goal away from San Siro. Ibrahimovic could make the bench, while Lazetic is not yet ready and Ante Rebic is the only alternative on the left wing, so it will be up to Giroud again.
