AC Milan will announce the renewal of head coach Stefano Pioli before the game against Sassuolo on Sunday, according to a report.
There are an abundance of reports suggesting that Pioli will soon be rewarded for his fantastic work with a contract extension as he has overseen a period of almost continuous growth since taking over just a few games into the 2019-20 season. His current deal expires next June, but it appears that will soon be amended.
As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, tomorrow will be the day that Pioli goes to Casa Milan to sign a contract extension and the official announcement will come before the match against Sassuolo.
It feels like the right time too, as at the age of 56 and with over 700 games as a manager under his belt, Pioli won his first Champions League game last night and it was fully deserved. It is fitting, too, that it came thanks to his proactive decision making.

he should get renewal when we qualify group stage
What if we don’t? You know that our qualification isn’t entirely up to us. He should get a renewal regardless. He deserves it. Also, it promotes consistency and continuity. We can grow even if we don’t qualify. Milan will be at the top soon.
And if we doesnt qualify for the next round , then are you suggesting that we doesnt renew his contract or what ?
Whether we qualify or not he should be renewed
No discussion there.
