AC Milan clinched all three points in the Derby della Madonnina and thus completed the double over Inter this season. There were two unexpected heroes and below are the player ratings for the Rossoneri.
If you haven’t already, make sure to check out how we decide the player ratings. From the scale to what affects the rating, we have compiled everything there.
Starting XI
Maignan (6.5): Inter only had one shot on target (!) and it came from close range, when the keeper did well to stand his ground and essentially deflect Mkhitaryan’s effort. He also did well in most collections, apart from one poor intervention at the end.
Tomori (6.5): I would have liked to see a bit more from him in the build-up and when out on the right flank, but there’s no denying that he did his duties well. Dimarco didn’t exactly get to many crossing opportunities, also thanks to Saelemaekers’ work, and the Englishman was solid in the box too.
De Winter (6.5): He set the tone very early by shrugging off Bonny, and then continued to defend with confidence. There were a couple of moments which could have been handled better, but also a few which he handled brilliantly. All in all, a very good display.

Pavlovic (6.5): Incredibly strong in the duels (both 1v1 and in the box) and as always, he was super willing in both phases of the game. In derbies, that type of attitude is so crucial and really does make a difference.
Saelemaekers (6.5): Similarly to Pavlovic, it’s a game that suits him well in the sense that you need to be quite aggressive to gain an upper hand on your opponent. It feels like he did just that against Dimarco, and he also defended well overall tonight.
Fofana (7): He initiated the one-two with Leao and played the pass to Estupinan at just the right time, and with just the right weight. He had a couple of half-chances after that which he perhaps could have done better with, but it’s also a fact that his smart movement between the lines is what created those chances in the first place.
Modric (6.5): A standard Modric performance with good movement and passes, even if I would say that he didn’t need to shine tonight. He was just an important part of the machine without making too much noise, but that’s not a bad thing either.
Rabiot (7): I think he was really smart with his movement for most of the game, not only finding pockets of space in attack but also covering for his teammates when needed in defence. On more than one occasion, he also broke up the play, giving Milan some time to rest (while frustrating Inter).
Estupinan (7.5 – MOTM): He timed his run to perfection and the finish was even better! Certainly a brilliant way to score your first goal for the club, let alone in a derby. Some dodgy moments in defence perhaps should have lowered the rating to a 7, but I’m in a good mood and after all, he just gave us the double over Inter!
Pulisic (6): The No.11 ran the most out of any Milan player, which made a difference tonight, but he would probably agree that his performance on the ball didn’t stand out. There was one good run down the middle and pass for Leao, but not much more aside from that.
Leao (6): Involved in the goal, playing that one-two with Fofana, but there wasn’t much else in terms of successful attacking contributions from him. The only positive after from the one-two was that he moved well and stretched the Inter defence more than once.
Substitutes
Ricci (6): He came on in the 73rd minute, together with Fullkrug, and had a couple of good clearances/interceptions in the defensive phase. Maybe generous to give a pass for the lack of contributions, but he also wasn’t bad.
Fullkrug (N/A): I think Allegri brought him on to offer a focal point for the defence to aim at but I’m not so sure we got to see that. He was offside a couple of times and wasn’t really that involved in my opinion. On a derby win night, however, I’ll opt for the N/A here rather than 5.5 since I can.
Nkunku (N/A): I didn’t see enough to give him a rating.
The manager
Allegri (7): Maybe it was easier with Lautaro and Thuram out, but Inter really struggled to create chances tonight and didn’t really find any rhythm to their game. Allegri’s tactics thus have to be praise, while the decision to go with Estupinan paid off too.

Fofana to Estupinan for the win! A big middle finger to all the haters on here.
DeWinter has become our best defender after the Napoli match. That’s why you don’t give up on young players after a bad match or two.
Pulisic altho he did not score had a very good match. Some really good runs with the ball, set up Saleamkers for a chance and setup Leao on the counter. To give him the same rating as Leao is criminal. But what else do you expect here at Sempre.
I just watched the highlights. The Pulisic bias is ridiculous- I saw a pass to Modric for a shot on goal that went wide, a cross to Saleamaekers that just missed, a break down the field with a pass to Saleamakers that he bungled, his running is to maintain defensive structure. I’m not saying he had a great game, but a much better game then Leao.
The problem is that he was always good and never elite. He has never been consistent either. He had a superb form early on in the season. The problem is that with 0 real stars we keep overhyping him and the rumors circulating that he could go to Liverpool if he is not happy are laughable. Maybe to replace Chiesa…
Puli is elite. He’s just having a bad phase. He’ll get over it.
I don’t know if he’s Elite per se, but he is definitely one of our best players and this dry spell doesn’t take anything away.
Come on… He had a short period of time at Borussia and then Chelsea overpaid. He is good with both feet and not amazing with either, ok with his head, free kicks and penalties. Not amazing at anything. He is also not very strong and never the fastest on the pitch, he plays smart but not a master dribbler. He is a very good player and not elite and he has never been consistent. He likes the club, he doesn’t mind being moved around the pitch by the coach. He is at the right club. this is his limit.
HAHAHAHAHHAA
What the f’ does ‘elite’ mean?
More meaningless ratings.
The opposite of Colombo, Calabria, Pobega, etc.
Agreed. Although I didn’t very much like Puli’s game because he continues to be unable to score in 2026 and goals win games, definitely he played better than Leao.
The guy has been hurt. I don’t get it , people think he’s been healthy for all of 2026. If he was at a normal physical condition you would have a point.
Also, on Fofana’s goal, did anybody notice how wide open Sommer left his near post for Fofana’s shot to go in?
That’s a mistake that is normally not something you see a really good goalkeeper make, but….
Pulisic was running down the center of the field, and I think Sommer had Pulisic in his head and hesitated to fully commit to closing off that near post like he should have
The Milan goal was a rocket, not the keeper’s fault, he had no time to react. The pass and shot were too good. Can’t blame Sommer for that. And he is a good shot stopper.
What Fofana goal? He didn’t score.
What game are you talking about
Yup, the clueless hate brigade! Wrong yet again!
Out here Fofana maxxing again 😂😂😂 mate there is so much more to life than glazing Fofana 😂😂😂 enjoy the assist you earned it 😂😂😂
Not sure why match winning performances bother you so much????….You need to get some rest, those last 2 brain cells you have left need rejuvenating.
For pulisic to get a 6 tells you all you need to know about the worthlessness of these ratings
THIS!
👆 this 100%
Yea, this guy really dislikes Pulisic. You cannot give him the same rating as Leao. Just on effort alone. If you want lower his rating go for it but then Leao ratings has to be lowered. Your bias is so transparent.
A well-deserved win.
Chivu showed again that he has been lucky this season; even Marotta admitted it. haha
even if you make some outlandish comments sometimes. im glad you admit some stuff like this . you will still probably win the league so congrats on that
He’s more level headed than a lot of contributors here if you’ve been paying attention.
Spot on
It is not luck. Serie A was always win against clubs who.fight for.survival
Against Verona and Atalanta we were helped by sheer luck. Against Juve things could have easily gone differently with the Kalulu-Bastoni incident. I am sure the Scudetto is ours, but the weak level of the league masks our own many weaknesses. Chivu keeps making questionable decisions in key moments, or fails to have a proper plan in key games. On the other hand, he is very good at beating mid-table and bottom-table teams, so you make a good point with what you say.
You forget to mention – understandably- all the dodgy decisions that have gone against Milan this season while inter have everything go for them…I hope Bastoni’s injury isn’t too bad 🤞
I don’t think it’s luck. I think he’s riding hard on what Inzaghi had built and for many players it’s just muscle memory. Still he will deliver the Scudetto in his first year, but if he stays beyond, Inter may start to crumble because aside from man management, I don’t think Chivy has any cutting tactical insight …
When I say luck has helped, I refer to the games vs Atalanta (Djimsiti assisted our goal), Verona (a silly own goal) and the infamous Juve game. Without those episodes now we could have the same points as you or a single point more.
Agree with what you say about Chivu. In his defense though, this is not the system he planned to use. He wanted the management buy an attacker with dribbling skills so he could deploy another system, probably 3-4-2-1. The management opted for cheapness in the summer (failed to buy Lookman or a similar) and in the winter too (failed to buy Diaby), so Chivu had to keep using Inzaghi’s outdated system.
I do not think Inter has had luck TBH….
The Juventus game was Marotta’s league, not luck, just as planned.
The other ones maybe a bit, but Inter has been rock solid in the league bar the big teams…. let’s see how it ends but I do not see them losing this Serie A
Muscle memory is right – he probably shows the team Inzaghi training videos and goes out for a smoke…
And that is not praising the american, is because Leao was abysmal tonight. Leao should have a 4.5 or a 5 if we are really generous
You’re right, mate. Leao was terrible. However, we are getting ever closer to our goal. At the end of the season, we should be able to add more quality to the team. Our best players are not performing well, consistently.
Chivu is not a great coach, but luck? You don’t sit at the top of Serie A by 7 pts due to luck! Ridiculous. Give the guy credit for keeping Inter in front of the chasing pack.
Luck is part of the game. Inter missed two-three goals on a silver platter last night. On another night they’re scored and we lose.
no one was fantastic but this was the epitome of a TEAM WIN proud of these boys
Estupinan lost that ball, which Inter in general always punish.
For me, man of the match definitely Saelemaekers, because he stolped Dimarco very well
Modric, Rabiot make.our midfield strong. And much much stronger than last 5 seasons.
Fofana went well again
Pulisic before exit was player with far more run distance of all other players in the game…
In general.good.team work to beat inter again.
Saelemakers had another bad game overall, but Inter was awful by his flank. He lost tons of duels and he added zero in attack. For me he is gassed or distracted or both
I wouldn’t say he a bad game. He was great defensively. He was inconsistent in offense though.
Salad was MoM taking Dimarco out of the game.
If he had just 10% of Leao’s shooting skill he’d be world class playing for Real Madrid.
Fofana for me.
Gritty performance, excited to get the win. Nice pass from Fofana and Pervis converted so a big congratulations to them for putting us on top. Overall, everyone was a bit sloppy with their passes but when the environment is tense that can be expected.
We could at least win with 2 goals. There’s so many chance wasted by Leao and Fofana.
But i still applaud the boys performance. They really played well, probably one of the best match for this season 👏
Also, we’re quite lucky with the referee didn’t reward Inter a PK from Sale and Ricci unintended handsball. Other referee probably already gave them a PK.
Worst ratings of all time.
KDW deserves a 7.5
Pavlo 7
Modric 8 – his calmness on the ball plus so many interventions it’s unreal
Leao – 4. Absolutely shocking performance – he is finished.
I agree, Pavlo and KDW were solid all game.
Leao was fined put a shift in for the team, which was needed. Could have done better with his chance but didn’t but he contributed.
Leao have never put a shift in his entire life. I dream one day we will see Leao on the list of players who have run the furtherst, just once in his career, that’s when he will become world class.
He will never become world class. It’s not in his DNA.
I don’t care how much runs.
Many already consider him WC.
Great win, solid performance, poor match.
Credit to Allegri for the win. His tactics make sense vs Inter, less so v Parma
Delighted for the players, especially some of the lesser lights like Fofana and Pervis.
No real standout performers but pretty solid all round.
Though Rafa and Puli really need to sharpen up
I’m also glad it was Bastoni injured and not Rabiot after his horrible challenge. Karma’s a b1tch
Exactly
The intensity we started with is how we should always press, not giving the opposition any chance to get their rhythm, but after scoring everything went flat.
.if we properly press smaller teams, no bottom half team will come to Sansiro and hope for a point, what they’d hope for is not a rout
This!!
Your ratings on the defense are always way too harsh. We held down the best team in Italy, and we did it well. Pavlo and De Winter 8.0, easily
To be fair, inter played without their 3 best players, Lautaro, Thuram and Hakan.
To be fair, Inter hadn’t beaten us when all three of them were available in previous installments stretching into Pioli era.
Check the past games we won, they all played..
What does the past games have to do with the comment that defensive ratings in this game are too low because Milan kept the best team in Italy from scoring?
Even if you look at the previous games, In the 1st derby of this season inter wasn’t yet the best team, they actually started the season poor, and neither were they the best team last season.
Defending vs Lautaro and Thuram is not the same as Defending vs Esposito and Bony.
We lost Gabbia, one of our best defender that hold down Lautaro and Thuram when we beat them in the 1st match.
So far I would say KDW has been better than Gabbia, outside of that game VS Napoli. He’s grown A LOT.
Deserved win. Milan has had inter’s number in the last 2 seasons.
The numbers won’t show it but Milan was in total control of the game. I wasn’t worried of inter scoring unless Milan gifted them something which they did twice. Once in the 1st half Leao’s gift allowed the Mikhitaryan chance and then in the 2nd half Estupiñán gift led to Di Marco’s chance. Outside of that inter didn’t do a damn thing.
2nd game in a row Fofana is best player on the pitch. Great pass and even better finish by Estupiñán who also had a very good game outside of that one giveaway.
The forwards were poor again. They kept misplacing the passes and losing the ball. Pulisic had 1 good run that set up Leao for a goal but his poor shooting technique was at display again.
Luka Modric was awesome. Always at the right place. Hopefully he stays for another year.
Rabiot got beat up. They kept fouling him hard. The game suspension can be welcoming for him.
Saelemaekers totally took di Marco out of the game.
9 points distance from the 4th/5th place kept, 7 point behind 1st place.
On to Lazio.
2 derbys, 2 big chances, 1-0 win each.
If there is ever a book that will be written about the “Corto Muso theory” this particular derby should serve as a case study.
Maignan: The few time(s) we needed him, he was available.
Pavlović, Tomori and the Winter soldier: the fact that Inter barely had 2 shots on target and 2 chances has to be credited to them. Inter’s attackers in Bonny and Esposito were essentially absent and for once we dealt crosses and corners very well. I feel that Tomori is slightly worse than the other 2 but mainly for offensive reasons.
Saelemakers: Defensively very good game, a player like Dimarco is never easy to deal with. He was also ok offensively, but again his lack of shooting accuracy wasn’t exposed given how conservative we were.
Estupiñán: just because of that goal, I’ll give him a 10. Jokes aside, aside from a huge blunder early in the second half, he was very good.
Modrić: as usual very good game for the Croatian.
Rabiot: crucial defensively, but missed many passes and wasn’t really sharp offensively.
Fofana: this man is an enigma. How can a player who is generally so innacurate has such an insane ability for through balls ? Or rather how can a player so good with through balls misplay so many easier passes ? There are players inconsistent from game to game, but he is capable of the best and the worst in a single game. Now with that said, given how crucial his pass was, I’ll give him a good rating. He was also overall very active.
Ricci: didn’t see much of him, but he was lucky to not have a penalty called on him late during the game.
Pulišić: he is livelier, and more active that during the last games, but overall he is still below average.
Leão: very bad game for him. Many missed shots, his passes were poor and even the accurate one slowed attacks.
Füllkrug: nothing to see, but again we didn’t really attack when he came in.
Nkunku: N/A
For those who might have missed the second half, the following short resumes it pretty well: youtube(.)com/shorts/yYzUgBCQ4vA
You’re right. Both games were the textbook definition of Corto Muso.
Do you all understand how statistically improbable it was that the one thing Fofana did right all game and the one thing Estupinan did all game occurred progressively one after the other to result in a goal??? INSANE.
Because neither one of them did anything else right all game. But hey, sometimes the long shots pay off the most in the end.
Forza Corto Muso …
“Because neither one of them did anything else right all game.”
Did you only watch the highlights of the game?
Estupinian was very good defensively all game long, same with Fofana who had another good thru ball in the second half that Leao wasted.
Agree to disagree. Estupinan survived against Dumfries and didn’t do a whole lot against Luis Enrique because the Brazilian was poor. I did see Estupinan buckle under multiple challenges and lose the ball often though.
Maybe our definition of “very good” varies vastly.
How is your definition of “didn’t do anything else right the rest of the game”?
Don’t you think that Estupinian had something to do with Enrique being poor?
What did Dumfries do once he came in the game? He earned a yellow card. That’s it.
You didn’t address Fofana though.
You must not have watched a lot of Luis Henrique this season. He has been poor all season: poor defensively, erratic offensively. Estupinan didn’t have to do a whole lot, because most of the time the Brazilian would just pass the ball back. But even then Estupinan would get tangled up and either misplace the ball or fall under contact hoping for a call.
As far as Fofana, what did we see out of him today that we haven’t all season? Occasional great line-splitting pass (like the one to Estupinan and the ones last game) among a dozen others that are misplaced or shots that end up in outer space. He’s truly B2B in that you have to keep him out of EITHER box. He’s super inconsistent and luckily this game it didn’t cost us.
Well you did say you will not give credit where it is due…At least you are consistent.
You said: they didn’t do anything else right the rest of this game.
Now you are telling us about Enrique season and Fofana inconsistencies.
Fofana and Estupinian are the 2 players with the highest rating in the game. Did they get those ratings just because of the goal, even though they didn’t do anything else right, as you claim, or they actually had a good game besides combining on the goal?
Spare me the summary of their season or career
I didn’t give them those ratings. Those are highly subjective. I’m just telling you that they didn’t prove or disprove anything to me I didn’t already know. They are both very limited, erratic and error prone.
From the same people that bend over backwards to make excuses for Bartesaghi who has been responsible for many goals conceded this season.
Yup, Bartesaghi has been directly responsible for more goals conceded than both Pervis and Fofana.
The only good from fofana was that pass fo the goal, anything else was bad! Estupian overall had good game he need playing time and eill ge ok, he almost cost us goal in the second half need to cut his mistakes in backfield!!
You missed a good game mate!
Fofana has been involved in a number of goals this season.
He needs to start every game.
Yeah. It’s not even a question at this point. With this formation it’s Modric, Rabiot and Fofana.
Gone that era of Pioli with his incredible streak against Inter lol. De Winter is top. I personally doubt him but glad to be proven wrong. Fofana has always been one of Allegri’s keys. We simply has more wining percentage when we filed Adrien Luka and him.
I was abou to say the same thing. Since Pioli left, Inter has failed to defeat us. This tells a lot.
Allegri was always going to out coach Chivu tonight – the only doubt was would inter get another dodgy decision in their favor…
We overturned a bigger gap than 7 points in 99 to take the scudetto but I think inter needed to remain in the CL to give us a chance of catching them – unfortunately they’re dog sh!t against foreign clubs as well as big clubs in Italy…
Have to disagree with Leao and Pulisic getting the same rating here – the American was head and shoulders better on the night..
Yep. Pulisic outside of a few missed passes had a really good game.
Some players are given a pass for missed chances and missed passes, others, not so much.
Yeah it’s annoying.
Some PLAYER is not only given a pass for missing chances but he is even getting praised for getting in a position to miss the chances.
Imagine being a loser that doesn’t celebrate Milan derby win but quickly goes online to spit on a Milan player. You guys don’t have to imagine.
Just when you’re sick of his method, Allegri proves how much it deserves our respect. A win v Inter is a beautiful win.
Up Ac milan i really appreciate this winning tonight
Corto Muso has it’s place, and it’s in games like this. It just doesn’t make sense against defensive teams that we’ve dropped points to.
What are our chances? ChatGPT says 15-20%
How do Pulisic and Leao get the same rating? Leao had a rough game. Pulisic played well minus a couple misplaced passes. He beat his man nicely and set up Salad but he scuffed it. He set up Leao after a brilliant run and Leao missed a good chance. He could have had 3 assists today, had a few really good runs, helped on D, and ran more than anyone else. Even Allegri saw it as he pulled Leao first which he hasn’t done in awhile.
And won all of his dribbles. Leao not so much.
Leao should be sold and invest in a player that will
hustle and improve with age. Leao does not improve with age!!!
Exactly right. Finally, someone who watched the game. Could have had 3 assists. A coupe at the very least. The bias is insane
A ~75minutes Pulisic was the player with most key passes during the match and had covered the most kms when subbed off. Sure, he has played better but saying he didn’t perform well enough is ridiculous.
*At ~75mins….
$hinter fans crying on reddit feed is very funny to read through… those guys have such victim mentality…
they keep talking how we dare to say “Marotta league”… pathetic merda
If you think that’s entertaining, go watch Luca Mastrangelo on YT. hilarious.
Fofana with yet another goal contribution. Another good night for the Frenchman.
De Winter is MVP 8.p
DeWinter is not getting enough credit for the solid performances he is putting in. Gabbia injury is a blessing in disguise because I don’t know how he breaks back into the starting lineup over KDW.
What a rock.
Can you F off criticising Gabbia?
You need therapy. And a reality check.
You need a brain.
Gabbia and KDW both deserve to be starting imo. Theyd be a good pair in 433 or as 2 of the 3 in a back 3
Gabbia over whom? KDW? No, not likely, not in the form the Belgian is in. Over Pavlo? Well, no, because he’s faster and left-footed… So in rotation only then. Which is my point.
He has proven he can play across the backline, so thats not an issue.
He’s better than Tomori/Pav, as is Gabbia
Not sure if any on you watched the game at San Siro, bit Fofana was one of our worst players!!! He was supposed to be taken out at halftime!!!
Thankfully Allegri is Milan’s coach and not you.
Alegri will lose his patience very very soon and bench him!! Mark my words!!! You definitely watched the game on TV!!
Allegri will lose patience with him?? Hilarious!! When? Next week? The week after?? There’s only 10 games left!! He’s played him consistently all season!!! Allegri clearly values him! You should watch the games on TV too with your eyes open this time. Try it!
Only a few months ago this room was full of posters adamant that De Winter is a waste of $$ and should be sold. Despite only playing a few games and mostly as a late sub. Good to see him proving everyone wrong.
“Have to disagree with Leao and Pulisic getting the same rating here – the American was head and shoulders better on the night..” My take on your comment is Pulisic fitness level is ahead of Leao but give leao time to get back to full fitness.
ALLEGRI
Fullkrug was a cheap no 9 with characteristics that we needed and that is it. I hated seeing people hyping him and there is 0 reasons to keep him past his loan.
Agree 100%.
Leao still doesn’t look fit, or his confidence has dropped off a cliff. He keeps checking back instead of turning the burners on and that seems like he doesn’t trust his body. I also thought he was very poor tonight, yes he tracked back a little bit (like a normal player) and had a part in the goal, but the missed chance was awful and there were other poor moments too. He also doesn’t really suit that position anyway, as we know. If you compare him with truly world class forwards / wide players at the moment, he’s not in the same league.
I won’t do my usual long post. Got home late and exhausted from San Siro and most of the action was on the half of the field farther away from me; it was hard to see much. I will say that I didn’t like Rafa nor Puli. I thought the entire defense was good, like collectively a 7. Estupinan was surprising and despite one big mistake that almost conceded an equalizer, I agree that it’s still fair to give him MOTM to celebrate his winning goal. I thought that De Winter, Pavlovic and Tomori did well. Fofana registered an assist. I thought that Modric was better than what the official rater here said; instead, Rabiot was less good than Modric. The subs didn’t really have an impact. Good first half despite some missed scoring chances, worse second half as the energy dropped given the huge effort of the first half, but we kept the clean sheet and won. Forza Milan. Interesting fact: stats show that now Milan’s defense is the best of Serie A. That’s Allegri for ya! PS: I loved that nasty Bastoni tried to break Rabiot’s leg but got injured himself. Karma.
Pulisic was much better than Leao tonight. Not even close.
Ok loser. We got it the first 70 times you wrote it. ,🤣
Name calling on the internet. Original…
He probably wrote it 70 times because it takes that amount of repetition for it to sink in. Just guessing.
Not exactly, he wasn’t better and to add to why the rater(which i sometimes don’t agree with) gave both of them 6, Leao at least was involved in the goal scored that’s positive output, Pulisic had some nice runs, end result wasn’t that great as usual in 2026. Both failed in their primary duties which is to score goal, yl Leao was completely outplayed, Pulisic was allow to roam from left to right, hence it appeared like he was playing better but he wasn’t actually, play him as a striker then you will know Leao is far better
The end result wasn’t there because Leao and Saleamakers couldn’t get there shots on target hardlt Pulisic’s fault. He could have had 3 assists this match.
Every other serious ratings site had Pulisic with a higher rating than Leao. Anyone who watched the match could see that. Leao was awful this match.
Hahaha got the blinders on again
Our Lord Thou Art In Heaven… Is this a sign?
I think these readings are a bit too rosy, probably because of the win. If this was a draw or loss, this sure would have given many of these performances lower scores. Just one example, Leao was useless basically the whole game. Another, Salamaekers constantly gave the ball away.
And as usual, Isak gives Ricci a pass, for doing what? Absolutely nothing impactful. If Fofana had a match like Ricci had, he would have been rated a 4.
The amount of f’ing double edged compliments on here after a derby win is a f’ing disgrace.
None of you should be supporting AC Milan or following any team..
Go find another hobby.
Bro Como played yesterday.
You use a former player’s name as a joke.
You’re a f’ing disgrace.
‘Fans’ on here constantly mocking and insulting the players who play for the club even after a derby win.
Now you curse at me? Take a look in the mirror. You are a xenophobic hypocrite.
What are you talking about? MH’s comments here are added entertainment LOL!!!
Xenophobic?
How does that work exactly when it comes to football?
I support Italy that means I want more Italian players playing for Milan, an Italian club.
You can’t have one without the other.
Someone’s mad.
“I support Italy that means I want more Italian players playing for Milan, an Italian club.”
Where were you when you supported Como, the least Italian team in the whole league? Why did you say that then? Now you’re back here lecturing others about supporting Italian. There are non Italians with better support for Italy than you, how ironic
People don’t criticize out of hate, but out of love. Especially when it comes to someone like Leao who can do so much better if he just put in the effort in training and gets in to top physical form. I’ll argue not getting frustrated is equally bad as a fan. This is a forum for discussion thought, where people are free to express themself. We have been putting up with you just as much as you are putting up with us.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Calling players stupid, low IQ and trash is out of love? Well this is known as the twilight zone
Hehe.. so true.
Solid win.
Inter are really very average and hopefully AC Milan and the mighty Bodø/Glimt have shown other Serie A clubs the way.
Best the filthy scum.
They don’t deserve to be anywhere near the top.
Forza Milan.
Whenever it’s a derby win we can never criticize the team. What a effort they put in! It’s crazy that modric can still amaze me. That man is 40 and his passion and dedication is second to none. What a performance from him tonight. Our midfield out classes theirs and that’s the bottom line on how we beat them in both games. Defence was solid too. It’s not over until June. Inter have some tough games this month so there is still hope.
The scudetto is out of reach I think. This Inter team is on autopilot, like Liverpool under Slott last season. Hopefully we can beat those POS Napoli to seal second place.
I said I agree with Estupinan getting MOTM because his first goal for AC Milan being against zinter and our only goal, needs to be celebrated; but I actually thought that our two best players were De Winter and Pavlovic. But it’s not right either to say that Estupinan did nothing right other than his goal, he did have a huge mistake that could have cost us the win but otherwise he was pretty decent. Maybe I was harsh on Pili. He did have good passes to companions who should have capitalized and he ran a lot. Fofana actually was the one I thought did poorly overall but did create an assist. People say I have an anti-Fofana bias. Maybe I do but ai find him very wasteful, despite the occasional great through pass.
Certain posters constantly berating us for KDW is getting old. Yes, some of us including me made a mistake by basing him too early but we are happy to be proven wrong; KDW has been great but drop the constant reminder of this mistake. I’ve been rating KDW Well for like seven games.
Doveri may be one of the few referees who is not anti-Milan. Others would have called a PK against us. But it’s Karma because Inter have enormously benefited from the refs and we have been constantly damaged by refs so it’s good to see it the other way around for a change.
*Puli not Pili
I had the same impression about KDW and Pavlović. Outstanding. What more can you ask from central defenders? Terrific display.
How about this Luigi. players take time to settle at a new club…KDW was given zero time by this forum, others however are/were given all the time in the world to “adjust” to their new surroundings. Why don’t you try being more balanced and fair?? then maybe those berating you now will give you the benefit.
It’s just the endless repetition. I’ve mentioned multiple times that I was wrong about KDW and have rated him highly for 7 games in a row.
For how long do you want us impatient people who did make the mistake, to be bashed for it? Will 30 years be enough? Maybe 50?
No Luigi, give KDW the same amount of time you are giving Ricci and Gimenez to settle. They are getting a complete pass from you and others despite their mediocre play. While KDW & Estupinan were lashed by you and others in this forum immediately, and they happen to be playing well! It’s called being biased.
So my main concern with us sitting so deep and allowing teams to attack us at will is summed up in the last 5min…a different day a different ref and that goal could easily have stood or a penalty been awarded. We can thank our lucky stars. Thanx to Estu for the goal but all that good work could easily have been undone by losing the ball in a bad position later in the game. He is just so uncomfortable in possession. And as for Tomori please ship him out, he is offering nothing playing out of the back. Happy to take the 3points but our deep defending, sitting back with a slender lead is living on a knife edge. Just does not inspire confidence going into UCL games next season. Something need to change…
And had they attacked the same could have happened.
Purely in terms of probability having MORE players behind the ball rather than LESS is likely to lead to FEWER goals.
Which is why Allegri, a 7 x winning Scudetto coach does it.
F’ off insulting Tomori.
If you want to change next season find another hobby.
The 180 degree type responses boggles the mind sometimes😂. Says something about some people’s ability to read properly rather then being too hasty in their reply…
Tomori offers nothing out of the back??…my goodness, you’ve missed a lot of Milan matches haven’t you?
Dear Forza. Milan won! again! and are in 2nd. Nothing else matters.
Hope Leo finds his form in last few match so Milan can cash in…
Leao need to find his form. As it stand, Leao can’t dribble past a pregnant woman.
Well said, useless
Take away his 8 goals and Milan are not in the top 4!
I made this calculation. We’d be 7th and out of Europe.
But I rewatched the match and have changed my mind about Puli. He actually had a rather good game. Rafa, not.
Well, the reality is most Milan fans are losers. Can’t change that. Thankfully it is only online…
Just imagine what would you losers write if there was an Inter handball in last minutes of the game? 🤣🤣🤣
LEao 6, are you mad, he deserves below 0.
Even Allegri has more miles than him yesterday.
Lazy Leao made in total +- 20 passes; 15 of them are to the defence of keeper…can’t understand what he does on the field to be honest.
If Puli had received the killer passes he made to Leao, Salelemakers, and Modric, he would have scored at least one goal. Puli is not receiving passes when he is in a good position to score. Allegri should address this issue.
Posted pretty much the same thing at the same time!
100%. This is what is missing .
It takes 2 to tangle. Someone has to be there to feed puli. He can’t run more then all his teammates and pass the ball to himself.
Imagine if Milan did those things you say are missing…they may have managed to actually win the game!??…oh wait!
Or, they would have scored another goal and maybe keep him for next year.
Milan 1 Inter 0 = 3 pts. didn’t need a 2nd goal mate. job done.
So, I think the debate around Leao and Puli boils down to formation and tactics. The forwards are getting close to zero effective service. The touches are way down, especially for Puli, despite constant runs. The team is built to avoid conceding goals, not for scoring them.
You’re right. For the first time, I watched the derby without fear of Milan losing to Inter. Inter are toothless without this three. Even if they win the Scudetto, we won the derby pride. How quickly things can change.
If we had just beaten Como and Parma within the last fornight, we’d be two points from the top…
And if they had lost to Juve if not for the Bastoni/Kalulu cheating situation, we’d be above them by 1 point. Not to
Forget that we did beat Como but the ref granted to them an invalid equalizer.
Milan winning is a huge plus. Maldinis Heir getting mad over someone mocking him is priceless. Lol
Caps off a great few days
Estu with a stunner of a goal. Happy for him and hope he can build on it 😁
The Salad was closing down everything on the right side which was the outlet Inter chose for some reason. Modric with the interception masterclass last night and Fofana just fits with Allegri’s system somehow (despite him still being terrible at shooting…he had a clear chance but skied it. Fantastic assist though!)
Puli has amazing agility the way he weaves while dribbling at speed. Leao is not fully fit but he does have a few dangerous moments in him every game. Great game management from the team and a great way to get points off my most despised team of all time. Happy to get that w. Let’s hope Atalanta can make it interesting for us! Let’s go boys! We’re on our way to Europe next year 😁
Great win, no injuries, now on to Lazio. Same starting 11 please Mr. Allegri.
Rabiot will be suspended
Yes, you are right…Jashari then.
Leao is unfit as a CF/Striker. He doesn’t chase enough.
