AC Milan lost their crucial game against Cagliari and thus missed out on the Champions League. Only one player got a passing grade, with the others struggling a lot.
Massimiliano Allegri and his men headed into the game knowing that a win would do the trick. Sadly, Cagliari took control of the game and found the back of the net twice, outplaying Milan in the second half, with many of the Rossoneri players struggling.

Short version
🥇 Maignan (6 – MOTM): Left for dead on the goals, it has to be said, and then saved Milan from conceding several more with many great saves. There was one on Gaetano as well before Cagliari’s first goal. Not to mention the 1v1 save at 1-2. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave this summer.
👎 Jashari (4.5): I’m not even sure he played one good pass tonight. By that I don’t mean successful passes, but the ones where you go ‘he made the right decision there’. So many good runs not picked out by him. And build-up-wise, I’m not sure about his abilities at all…
👔 Allegri (2): Horrible approach to the game, yet again, and this time he didn’t have a quick fix to deploy for the second half. Cagliari outplayed us at San Siro and there was absolutely no cohesion in the team. Surely he can’t keep his job now?
Starting XI
Maignan (6 – MOTM): Left for dead on the goals, it has to be said, and then saved Milan from conceding several more with many great saves. There was one on Gaetano as well before Cagliari’s first goal. Not to mention the 1v1 save at 1-2. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave this summer.
Tomori (5.5): Great ball over the top for Gimenez on the goal, and he cleared the ball when Maignan almost made a howler. Having said that, he lost some duels after that on the right flank and committed a few fouls.
Gabbia (5): Of course, it’s hard for him as the last man standing (sort of) to solve everything, but the centre of the box was once again a mess. Cagliari created as much as they wanted and found space with ease. Also could have done better on Borrrelli on the first goal.

Pavlovic (5): Don’t think he did particularly well at the back, booked for a late challenge and beaten several other times, and the attacking contributions were really quite poor. Got in the way a little bit, truth be told.
Saelemaekers (5.5): Scored the opening goal with a nice strike, but what followed was a performance with a lot of mistakes here and there. Some better moments than others, but far too inconsistent and he also got very frustrated, putting his energy on the wrong things.
Fofana (4.5): Barely pressed and when he did, he caused fouls. Also really poor on the second goal as he was the one marking Rodriguez. It just looked like he stood still. Perhaps a perfect example of Milan’s lack of willingness this evening.
Jashari (4.5): I’m not even sure he played one good pass tonight. By that I don’t mean successful passes, but the ones where you go ‘he made the right decision there’. So many good runs not picked out by him. And build-up-wise, I’m not sure about his abilities at all…
Rabiot (5): Put in a good shift work-wise, as he so often does, but what did he have to show for it in the end? End product just wasn’t there, as especially evidenced by the big chance missed in the second half, when he attempted an acrobatic finish.

Bartesaghi (5): I suppose it’s the case with many players this season, but the Bartesaghi we saw last year has truly gone missing lately. Almost looks a little sluggish, without the spring in his step, and contributions in both phases are constantly mixed.
Gimenez (5.5): Nice flick for Saelemaekers on the goal. I absolutely agree that he could have done more with the rest of his time on the pitch, but he also rarely got the ball even when he made some great runs (cough Jashari). Also taken off at half-time.
Nkunku (4.5): Sadly back to reality for him with a performance that didn’t really result in anything. We needed him to make the most of his skill tonight and he just didn’t. I can’t really think of one chance that he was involved in.
Substitutes
Pulisic (5): You could argue that he added something that Milan didn’t have before, but ultimately, the outcome of his attacking actions was just more of the same. Promising, but never truly close. He also had a couple of decent chances to finish that he should have done more with.
Athekame (4.5): I’m sorry kid, but the fact Milan are making this sub to get things going (even if most of it was for the formation change, I assume), then that says everything about the situation.
Modric (4.5): I don’t want to be harsh on him, with it potentially being his last game for Milan and all, but I actually do think that he was really poor. Didn’t really add any balance whatsoever and he was sloppy on the ball. It felt like the mask affected him.
Fullkrug (4.5): Mr Offside. It’s ridiculous how poorly he keeps the line, especially having played so many years as a striker. He also complains so much when a cross doesn’t get to him, like if a teammate gets there first. Bad vibes.
Leao (4.5): I’m convinced the real Leao left a long time ago and that this is a poor clone of some sort. Surely that can’t be the man we saw tearing up so many defences a few years back.
The manager
Allegri (2): Horrible approach to the game, yet again, and this time he didn’t have a quick fix to deploy for the second half. Cagliari outplayed us at San Siro and there was absolutely no cohesion in the team. Surely he can’t keep his job now?

Rate the Season, better. Another 0. Redbird get the hell out. Red bird was handed a decent set up club. Somehow they managed to destroy it. Get the hell out of our club.
So…
You are going to have list of players to be sold, couple games before end of season?
And Ibrahimovic is going to shout it out there?
Then you finish with final result that best players you must keep on bench because you are unsure how they finish season…
And again as I said month ago: keeping Ruben loftus on bench and pushing jashari and Ricci is ridiculous….
the coach is to blame for everything.with his outdated defensive approach to every game.infact, the players dont even know where there teammates are at a point in time.jashari and ricci issue is another case of a biased coach at play.ricci has shown he is more adept at playing a midfielder sitting at d based of the midfield 3 while jashari came from brugge as d best player there playing as a box to box midfielder.but genius allegri swapped there roles and made jashari modric’s sub just so ricci can have more games as fofana’s sub.ridiculous.honestly the first new i wanted to hear today is allegri sacked
Don’t despair, you didn’t deserve to play in the UCL; you can’t even get a draw against Cagliari, who had nothing to play for, at home in your most important game of the season. Meanwhile Roma and Como had prepared well with tactical clarity and attacking football.
Now Pioli is starting to look like a genius. If I were Milan’s manager, I would restart the project with a young coach with attacking tactics, sell Leao & Co and buy proven Serie A talent.
Pioli was probably a genius. He’s been the only coach the last 15 years to get any kinds of results in this club.
And yall pushed him out the first unsatisfactory season he had. Under him pulisic and leao performed a lot better and had players punching above their weight
Pioli was propped up by Maldini and Masara.
The two individuals who knew what they were doing and Mr Cardinale sacks them….!
I shouldn’t even speak to you, but you’re 200% right!! And your team proved it so well! Congrats on the Scudetto, we have a LOT to learn from Inter and even Como. Their attack is top! Theres a big problem here internally at Milan and we have to fix it! Hoping for a better season next year.
Since most players probably have clauses in their contracts that gives substantial bonuses if the team reaches Champions League, they must want the coach gone or to leave themselves even more than those big bonuses… which says A LOT after putting in almost no effort at all to win the game.
Jerry Clowndinale is the dumbest football club owner I ever seen in my life…
Jerry…why you fired Maldini and Massara ? Why ???
Can you tell us why ?
You totally deserve this shit show and these “results”…
For the first time in my life I want ALL Milan players OUT for next season ! OUT !!! All of you. And Allegri of course and all “Management”…whaaat a bunch of incompetent clowns…wow…
It’s been explained why many times, are you slow?
CDK & Origi & losing stars for nothing.
Anyone in charge of transfers who blows a lot of money is fired or replaced. Moncada & Ibrahimovic were demoted, now Tare will be fired.
So which one you rather a director that blows money but wins titles or directors with money that have us not only not winning Jack sh!t but also out of Europe?
Seems like you’re the one that’s slow. Maldini was fired because he was getting all the praise for bringing milan back to a high level and our exposure in Europe was increasing with the club legend basking in the adulation. Gerry couldn’t handle that. He wanted the spotlight and now he’s getting it but not in the way he thought. Who fires a director who just brought us to a UCL semi? Last year practically this same bunch had us in 8th and no one got fired.
And you’re here talking about CDK and Origi lol who’s really slow here?
Well said @IKWYDLS……Bottom line is We are a miserable FAILURE under Redbird ever since Gerry fired Maldini and Massara. That is a FACT. Whether u liked M&M as directors or not the FACTS speak the truth. In the 5 years we were under Elliot and M&M – under a very strict budget and still under FFP sanctions – we climbed to the top and became Scudetto Champions and went to the Semi-Finals of UCL.
SINCE M&M were fired 5 years ago – we have missed UCL twice and haven’t even come close to wining the Scudetto. There is no other argument. All the Redbird Lovers just won’t accept the truth are simply delusional and are just in love with having an American owner.
Allegri, Spaletti and Conte are ‘expired’ milk only good for the drains. Italian football need some fresh faces and younger players too. Bournemouth in England have no ‘famous’ veteran yet their level of play was outstanding this year. Surely it will also be more affordable.
I’d rather have a director that spends money wisely.
The facts are under Maldini, despite the scudetto, finances were limited because huge assets, Donnarumma, Kessie and Cana, left on free transfers after management failed to tie them down to new contracts. A sizeable part of the post scudetto budget was wasted on CDK (€37.5 million of €61.8 million spent) and then you add in Origi’s salary and that’s when Maldini was fired. It’s perfectly understandable
why RedBird didn’t trust him to invest wisely. It’s the same reason Moncada was demoted, it’s the same reason Tare is facing the sack. That shows consistency and doesn’t support your absurd conspiracy theory.
You prefer a director who spends wisely? So you prefer Maldini then. Good to know!
Because the lot we have right now, you can’t say they’ve spent money wisely:
Musah, Chukwueze, Morata, Emerson Royal, estupinian, Nkunku….should I go on? RLC, Kyle Walker, Bondo, Sottil, Fulkrug, Joao Felix… Should I go on?…
Stay hating bro
This kid @uberhulk is a clueless Redbird loving A$$🤡
He was just boasting how we are “profitable” for a 4th straight year LOL. Ya all they “profit” has netted us the following since our Scudetto win and Semi Final showing in UCL:
4th
2nd (19 points behind Inter)
6th
8th
6th
This is what PROFIT gets you lol.
But hey at least Gerry is happy right? Oh ya and uberhulk too!!!
Disgrace. FIRE them all pls and TY
I did no such thing, strawman. Even after I explained why it’s important to turn a profit – in order to comply with Serie A and UEFA regulations, you still think profit is a dirty word.
I would restart the project with a young coach with attacking tactics, sell Leao & Co and buy proven, hungry Serie A talent.
Chivu who’s still riding on Simone’s hype train is about to get reality check with half of his team being replaced. See you there next season.
You are so desperate. lol
I’m kind of entertained actually.
Actually, it is not that easy to ride on some hype train. Chivu did a very good job. We need to play better, to get players with better technique, and to play aggressively.
Jerry Clowndinale is the dumbest football club owner I ever seen in my life…
Jerry…why you fired Maldini and Massara ? Why ???
Can you tell us why ?
You totally deserve this crap show and these “results”…
For the first time in my life I want ALL Milan players OUT for next season ! OUT !!! All of you. And Allegri of course and all “Management”…whaaat a bunch of incompetent clowns…wow….
And Allegri is the worst and stubborn coach I’ve ever seen. This chaotic end of season is all on him. He had no solution, and yet make weird selection.
After missing the champions league qualification again, the only way to give ratings to these people is zero for the managers/owner, zero for the coach, and 1 for the players (a tiny bit less guilty than the coach and managers/owner but rather mediocre). Enough said.
Non of them including all management deserve to wear red and black.
Sell/fire everyone cheap please. To make a statement
0 for the owners.
3 for the coach.
5 for the players.
I have defended Allegri on the basis that to date he had in fact delivered on his objective.
Until the very last game when he didn’t.
And now he can be judged on his own target.
He has failed so he needs to go.
There’s very little point rating the players as what you going to do?
Sack them all?
(That’s what people seem to want on here).
They need to keep the core and build.
Unfortunately now without Champions League the core is going to be ripped apart.
And THAT is the thing that might finally do it for me.
I can’t bear to live through another revolution, what little soul that is left being ripped out.
I think I’m done. The only thing that could keep now is for Red Bird to sell, and for whatever is left of the team to be built around Maignan, Gabbia and Bartesaghi.
#CardinaleOut
He isn’t going anywhere so get over it.
How the season started , with so much promise, Vs how it has ended, with so much horror
This comes down to Allegri, plain and simple. Is this a great squad, no, buts its good enough to get ucl places. There’s no reason a tram with these player should be failing to even get top 4, especially when every other team in that competition has been playing below par as well for their standards. A coach with an actual plan coupdve easily gotten this team into top 4. Fabregas, Gasperini, Italiano, you name it. Allegri failed miserably. Complete refusal to change anything despite the fact his 1 tactic has been FAILING for 3 months straight, he still refused to do anything different. His absolute stupidity is the reason we’ve failed yet again, and his lazy appointment as coach is yet another pathetic choice by the brain dead ownership. Maldini warned you and now hes sat at home laughing, watching you fail on literally EVERY LEVEL of this club
It’s not GREAT squad. It’s a good squad. There are major problems in attack.
The biggest being the coach.
The next being the MGMT not getting the coach a target man.
According to price tag and on paper especially the attack should have the potential to win even the CL.
But somehow neither of them was able to bring it down on the pitch.
100%. Allegri didn’t have the talent to win the Scudetto but surely had enough to be top 4.
I’m not a “fire everyone” person but both Allegri and Tare need to go. To have so many players underperform and/or have their performance fall off so rapidly in the last 4-5 months (Modric, Rabiot, Puli, Leao) of the season, and to be so bad on set piece defense – 10 given up this year, safe to say the zonal marking has been trash – means new approaches are needed.
Well Allegri (and maybe Tare) have failed on their on terms.
They didn’t achieve the objective they set for themselves so it’s reasonable for them to face the consequences.
Thats all she wrote.
Deserved loss and even more deserved to miss the UCL. Horrible game plan and even worse subs. Why was Fofana on the pitch that long?
They played cowardly football all season long and whatever they did offensively was more accidental than actual pattern of play.
Milan needs house cleaning from top to bottom. Management, coach and most of the players. No player should be untouchable.
If Allegri doesn’t have the decency to quit he should be immediately fired.
Which season was less terrible? Last season when they finished 8th, won a trophy, played in the knockout stages of UCL and in the final of Copa Italia, or this season, when they finished 6th, without playing in Europe and getting knocked out of Copa in November?
Hire a proper sporting director, let him pick a coach that plays progressive football and sign players that can play. Get rid of the lazy, overpaid, underperfoming players.
Re.
“Which season was less terrible? Last season when they finished 8th, won a trophy, played in the knockout stages of UCL and in the final of Copa Italia, or this season, when they finished 6th, without playing in Europe and getting knocked out of Copa in November?”
Great point. Such a poor season. They put all their season success in scraping a top 4 finish. With no other objectives and couldn’t even scrape that.
In the end. All they needed was a draw and they would have got 4th over Como on head to head. After Juve could only get a late draw.
Unai Emery here we go!🤣
The Emery League … Great
Milan winning the Europa league with Unai Emery would be the biggest accomplishment since 2007, and he would be the best coach Milan has had since Ancelotti.
Unai Emery won’t be able to win anything with Milan. He has only won trophy with teams that has VILLA. From SeVILLA to VILLAreal to Aston VILLA.
When he coached Arsenal without villa in the name, he managed to reached final of Europa league but lost. Milan will be just another Arsenal.
Fire Allegri and his soldiers Tomori, Fofana etc…
Started the season well, teams figured us out and no adjustments were made. GG on the season. Hopefully Leão wont be the scapegoat many will try to make of him.
Its fans like you that prevent the club from moving forward into the right direction. You are so result oriented that you never saw it was a problem all season long. The only difference between the beginning and end was that the results changed and wasn’t in our favor. We always had a problem scoring but we got the late winning goals. Always had a problem beating low level teams. Always played bad football. You tell me what has changed, teams didn’t figure us out the ball just stop bouncing our way. He did change tactics and formations tried to stop the bleeding but his philosophy is what it is and will never change. Defend first and hope the ball go in when they attack
100%
You know me bro?
I don’t need to know you to assess your opinion as being wrong. The fact that you said the season started well just proves my statement correctly. Fans like you that make bad assessments like that are the reason y the team can’t move forward in the right direction. You are so result oriented
No, it’s fans like you, who lets FACTS get in the way of your silly agendas. Under Allegri, we were fighting for the scudetto until February, had the longest unbeaten run in Europe and the best defence in Europe. Krunićs Heir was 100% correct in what he said. The defence fell apart, Pulisic and Leao stopped scoring.
Oh wow another fan that shows his football knowledge is results based as I perfectly stated to the other guy. Its fans like you 2 are the reason Milan can’t modernize and move forward. You all don’t care if they play good or not as long as they win right, just brainless fans that drive their happiness of a final result. The same problems we had at the start of the season is the same problem we have now nothing has changed. Milan still find it tough to beat the small team and they still have trouble scoring goals. Pulisic hasn’t scored a goal in 5 months and still our second best scorer. It’s just nonsense but hey we beat inter twice right and was in the Scudetto race for 2 weeks. Wait how much point did inter finish above us again
Must say i didn’t see this one coming. The cracks were there, grinding out results but we benefitted from collapses around us on the odd occasion. And still we could not capitalize when we had the result in our hands. The collapse has been tremendous to say the least. Since the turn of the year, nothing seemed to work. I’d say the coach just did not do it for us and should be the first to go. The team has been soulless and quite a number of them should follow the coach. This was a damn good lesson in how to screw up a season. Disappointing..
Fair analysis.
Fofana doesn’t even deserve to be on Milan bench and yet Allegri always finds a way to start with him despite he clearly has no brain
Because he likes this kind of midfielders. Untalented, big but slow , with wooden squared legs , with no imagination and no technique. Look at Rabiot his favorite player ever. He’s big but he can’t win a ball duel whiteout making a fault and instead having normal human legs he looks like he has wooden crosses…
More like Allegri doesn’t deserve to be at Milan. Everyone got worse under him. Also agree about Fofana
still wanna brag 6m financial profit?
where’s so called loyal super fans who always glorifies jery?
boulden, uberhulk?
There’re in their caves 😂
No one is ‘bragging’ about profits and who glorifies Gerry? Not a single person here blindly defends management, refuting the false narratives pushed by toxic fans isn’t blindly defending management, it’s stating the truth. That some of you are angered and annoyed by those who state the truth says a lot about the vile type of people you are.
The only positive from todays outcome is that we won’t have to watch Allegri coaching Milan ever again. He had Milan playing like a provincial team all season long.
Another positive, we finished ahead of Juventus!
I watched Bournemouth play before the Milan game today. Here is a team with a lower budget than Milan, playing better competition than Serie A. And they are playing beautiful winning football. They attack on defense and play decisive progressive passes on every turnover. Then I watched Milan. Every turnover turned into a back pass. Every single time Milan got into open space…no one ran off ball to create space, to give options to the ball carrier. How is it possible we are so unorganized? Big clubs win games 5-2, 4-1. That is modern football. Open and flowing, with a chance to give up goals but more than offset by the pure power of their attack.
Okafor leaves and scores
Chuk leaves and scores
Jovic leaves and scores
Tammy leaves and scores
Do we really think the same won’t happen with Giminez, and Leao?
Inter figured out modern football, so did Roma, and Como. If Milan doesn’t figure it out, we are f#cked and will stay f#cked
Iraiola is available too.
Okafor scored 8 goals all season long. He scored 6 for Milan in his 1st season.
Chukwueze scored 3 goals all season long. He scored 5 goals for Milan last season.
Jovic plays in the Greek league.
Abraham was scoring for Milan too.
Gimenez will score at another club.
All these players were at Milan for a year or 2. Leao has been at Milan for 7 seasons. He isn’t scoring much wherever he goes next. Coaches are not magicians. He is who he is. Time for him to go to Turkey or join Theo
Bournemouth is a proper proper team. I watched them largely outplay City in that title decider. That was such a well organized team with clear objectives a d tactics on both pages of the game. We’ll get spanked facing them … With Allegri ofc
The off the ball play, oh my word. That is the most basic thing to do in soccer. How we spent a full season and that weakness was never corrected. That is why we cant play the ball out of the back. And Sarri does that so well, Lazio is a marvel to watch getting play going from the back. I watched this all season and kept on asking myself can the coach not see this…Damn this is so frustrating
True. I agree.
I apologize. I said Allegri got us from 8th to 6th. Sorry it was 5th. Well done … written dripping with sarcasm. We saw a team today with no offensive plan. How much has Allegri damaged this team, that’s the question?
De Zerbi?
No, he’s staying with Spurs. Maybe we can get Cesc… Oh wait, he manages a better team
De zerbi is soon overrated, he killed Marseille and somewhat he is seen as some kind of champion. You’ll see when spurs actually go down next year
Too late for De Zerbi. He will have a Pochettino-like stint in London for the next ~5 years.
Bye Allegri!
No one that loves Milan can laugh at this time, no matter how badly they were treated – Maldini, Boban, Seedorf, Gattuso. Allegri should be old news after today. It’s just one season. We need a vibrant coach; it’s time to rebuild Milan.
We went from scudetto contenders around the time we faced inter and won (or at least we were confident we will never be lower than second) to sixth… Since that derby we won 3 games, drew once and lost 6, getting 10 points in 10 games and conceding goals in all but 2 games. “Disaster” and “collapse” aren’t enough to qualify what we witness.
Since Furlani is leaving, he should get Allegri and GTFO with him. The team has made 0 progress from the first day he came and managed to crumble when we needed just few more good results. During all these months, he has shown no flexibility, no imagination and no willingness to attack even when the situation required him to do as such and him inheriting an average dysfonctional team isn’t enough of an excuse to explain all of this, especially since the squad has been healthy for months now.
I won’t comment on the players’ performances, the worst ones were the usual suspects, while our “best” players didn’t live up to the task.
All finally, bravo Cardinale 👏👏👏. He managed to take a team that was finally back on track and had a winning mindset and revert it back to prior to the banter era, but actually worse if you consider that since he made our finances “good” we don’t have an excuse to be as bad as during the 2010s. We you make statments like the ones he made when he first came, or when you sack a legend of the club, you gotta make sure to put money where you mouth is. Well in his case, I think he mistook his mouth for his a$$.
Wouldn’t be so sure that snake Furlani is leaving. Seems to have influence enough with Cardinale that he can blame everyone else (Tare / Moncada) ahead of himself, for the poor transfer decisions.
Not saying the others shouldn’t shoulder some blame but the one consistent over this new RedBanter Era is Furlani , he absolutely needs to go but is the one guy that has the ability to keep himself in the job.
I’m not sure how you still don’t understand the role of a CEO. The transfer decisions are made by Tare, Furlani more or less only deals with contracts. He doesn’t scout, he doesn’t know anything about football.
I can tell you with 100% confidence this is not how it works at Milan. Its how its suppose to be I agree but Tare where barely through the door and our transfer market where already done. The signings we made last summer was done by Furlani, Zlatan and Maconda. Tare barely have any authority at all among this group and so far been used more as a messenger than a Sporting director
Zlatan had no influence on the signings this season. Ricci was signed by Furlani and Moncada, the rest of them were Tare signings
No, that is not the understand I’ve got what so ever. Zlatan was even directly involved in signings, doing meetings etc, his word is definitively meaningful especially in the period before and during Tare’s arrival. Signings like Nkunku and Fullkrug is made by people furlani. Signings you see are aligned with Allegri is most likely done by Tare.
Do you have any reports that Zlatan was involved in signings, because there was a report that Zlatan was involved last season but not this year. Zlatan didn’t want Allegri so he was kept at distance during this year.
Regardless, all of them, Allegri, Tare, Furlani, Moncada, Zlatan should be relieved of their duties, especially Allegri and Tare
Yes, he said it himself. Use google.
No, you can’t. I think you’ll find the transfers were made AFTER Tare arrived.
Them being made after he arrived or not does not mean he have authority to choose them in the first place. He does what he is told. Simple as that.
Guardiola is available and he always said he wanted to coach in Italy. Timing is perfect.
Give him a signing bonus, 1 mill a month and let him fix this mess. I am sure as much as this sound it will end up in net savings in comparison to dead weight we pay now.
Guardiola would never go to a club that can’t deliver the players he wants. And we can’t.
Who said that. I said think big no?
Things are moving, may as well flow the brim with guardiola
Gerry actually delivered as promised. This was entertainment at its finest. And the twist? You got me there good you sleazeball you.
Hahaha 😂
There are Allegri fan boys here who said we conceded 3 goals against Udinese because of 4-3-3 and here is yall favorite 3-5-2 and all its glory. No defense, No offense. Lmao.
Get us a modern coach fgds!. I don’t care how many goals we allow in as long as we’re winning ffs!
Allegri supporters are actually the problems we have in this team cos I can’t believe anyone can watch this nonsense all season long and think we should stick with the same coach. SMDH!!!
It is 2+2. Milan conceded 3 goals against Udinese because the defence is the same sh*tty players from last season.
No chemistry, coach technically poor
Player’s ego making it bad
Hmmm..really nope and dope
Sad seeing milan like this
We need pep, pep… come to milan 🤣🤣🤣
For a new project we need to switch for a spanish football school coach. A talented and innovative coach and bring him few spanish and south americans players . We need players with TALENT, players with good technique, speed, good passing technique and spanish style of playing.
A project similar to Como.
Stop bringing old elephants players. Stop bringing big tall UNTALENTED, limited, whiteout vision and imagination players. We need players able to play compact , sinergic football , 11 players able to play like a TEAM with identity, with flow, energetic and fast style play. Players motivated and with “grinta” .
That’s the last thing this team needs, this is not la liga, trying to repeat another Fonseca, concecao team, with a coach that doesn’t understand italian football, and with players who don’t understand italian football. Yes this year was not ideal, but como is not a team to model yourself after, they play nice looking football but will get destroyed in champions, barely beating any of the big teams this year same with roma, they were able to beat all the smaller teams which is something this milan couldn’t do for some reason. Not enough creativity and speed to break these smaller teams that sit back. They players are more to blame than the coach. Also how does anyone on here expect anything when coaches keep changing every year and can’t build anything around their ideas because a new coach comes with their new ideas, there’s no reason to leave Allegri and then expect a new coach to bring this team forward, it was progress, no european football, vs europa, (which i know should be champions). The team needs a good mercato, and some time, not a spanish coach.
Italian football has missed 3 straight world cups and won 1 world cup game in the last 20 years. It also crashed out of the UCL quickly and spectacularly. A coach who understands “Italian football” is absolutely needed so they know how to avoid it at all costs.
Yes, and England didn’t win since 1966. What is your point? I know it’s stupid even before you tell us.
The point is that Italian football is too obsessed with “history”. History should be honored but not viewed as something to replicate over and over. It’s like Italy decided we just won the world cup, we should play exactly the same way forever. The other nations and leagues adapted and modified their play and Italy has stayed stagnant. England did the same and lived in the past. At some point, you have to stop saying “remember when” and make the changes necessary to be on top again. As much as it pains everyone, Inter has changed the way they approach the game and has run away with 2 of the last 3 Scudetti.
Cagliari at home, 100m on the line…they battered us. They had more possession, more shots, and more desire. It’s unbelievable!
Literal relegation form since the derby – we deserve to be in the Europa League.
What a shame, after the goal, the opponent besieged us as usual and the old illness of conceding against dead ball situation flare up again at the worst possible time
My last comment in this web is when i see that my team is no longer looking for goal. They just defend. Not running not fighting just stay. And wishing some runs or long ball could become a goal. Even when they are behind. Its a rare to see our players in the most distant covered this year. I thought as long as they win or at least go to ucl than its ok. I dont mind to see lazy attitude to grows as cancer as long as they could go through. Maybe when allegri get players he want they will change. But now its clear that something is wrong and hopefully they know how to fix it.
This was shameful, everyone was poor, but show some respect to athekame who was way better than bartesaghi tonight.
Did anyone expect anything different offensively? Offense is a structure with rotations and plays. ACM has had none of that all year. Players need to practice this and understand how their teammates move and how to attack space. Allegri made two A level offensive players in C level players.
I can’t agree less, but most fans here thinks one is Lazy
They both have their faults. They aren’t superstars, but they are both very good players. I admit, the thing that drove me crazy and I reacted to was the making out that Leão is a superstar. No, both Leão and Pulisic are very good players that the manager couldn’t find a way to play in that helped them perform.
The manager made a mess of them, Leao never wanted to play as a striker yet he keeps using him as a Striker, tactically Allegri is zero
An awful watch. Hopefully that’s Tomori’s last game for the club. I don’t where to start with Max tho. Indeed a terrible terrible coach.

Reading all these comments, one comes to the conclusion it’s the coach’s fault for a third year of a row under this “project”. LOL! No wonder Cardinale is happy with this fanbase, they feed the scapegoating strategy perfectly, while also contributing to tickets and merchandise profits (chances are many of those who have commented in the last few hours have bought a jersey or have visited the stadium at least once during RedBir’ds reign). You guys truly never learn.
Of course it’s the coaches fault. Owners bring in staff to run the club, their football knowledge (or lack of it) is not relevant. Gerry’s expertise is in stadiums.
I mean I truly wasn’t baiting the only sad RedBird supporter around here, infamous for the constant non-sense he is forced to write, but it’s not surprising you were triggered. Hope you’re aren’t having a stroke, though, but this sentence makes me wonder:
“Gerry’s expertise is in stadiums.”
😂😂😂😂😂
Facts and reason aren’t nonsense:
The Goldman Sachs Legacy & Legends Hospitality: Prior to founding RedBird, Gerry Cardinale spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was instrumental in structuring massive sports and media deals. Crucially, he partnered with George Steinbrenner (New York Yankees) and Jerry Jones (Dallas Cowboys) to create Legends Hospitality. Legends is a powerhouse in stadium premium experiences, ticketing, and merchandising, famously working on the monetization and launch of Yankee Stadium and AT&T Stadium (Cowboys).
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣wtf did I just read? does Gerry pay you for this? If he doesn’t you’re missing out on some good money bro
What did I say?
“Facts and reason aren’t nonsense” and because I posted something that is a stone cold fact, that refutes a false claim, instead of accepting it, you complain! That shows the type of man you are.
A m0r0n of epic proportions.
There isn’t a league for the best stadium. This games called football
Wow it’s really like a movie. What a final twist of the season. It sums up the season we have tho, or even sums up this Red Bird’s era. Started out with a lot of optimism, just to fail miserably in the end.
And I can’t defend Max anymore as the target of the season isn’t achieved. Spending nearly 36-37 giornata long in the UCL spot just to miss it in the very last day. What a script. Our squad is surely better equipped than Roma and Como, so that’s not an excuse.
For the owner’s pov, no UCL means no 100 mil additional revenue. So it’s the perfect time to revolutionize the management. Or the coach, or the players. I don’t mind anymore. Because this current condition is not something that we can build with. Let it be your PR move.
“It sums up the season we have tho, or even sums up this Red Bird’s era. Started out with a lot of optimism, just to fail miserably in the end.”
Must have arrived late for the optimism party upon RedBird’s arrival. 😂
Never been a slight fan of Redbird but their tenure ‘start’ with a Scudetto on our hand.
“So it’s the perfect time to revolutionize the management. Or the coach, or the players. I don’t mind anymore. ”
I’m also tired and flabbergasted at the owners decisions… What next ? I’m with you. Too tired to care
The Cagliari defeat and the loss of a Champions League spot was not an accident, but rather the logical conclusion of a meticulously crafted scenario that began last summer.
The fundamental problem wasn’t the quality of the players; having a squad that included Maignan, Tomori, Rabiot, Modric, Nkunku, Leao, and Pulisic is a luxury in Serie A. The crisis lay in the mismanagement, which committed two strategic errors:
Mixing oil and water: by hiring a coach whose sterile, defensive tactics clashed with the attacking and fast-paced nature of the team players.
Lack of accountability and a decisive approach: allowing negativity and mental complacency to permeate the team throughout the season without decisive intervention, which turned a group of stars into mere shadows of their former selves on the pitch on the night of the final whistle. The season ended in a sporting “zero returns” and an economic disaster that will force the club to sell some assets (elite players) to cover the financial deficit resulting from not qualifying for European competition, thus putting the entire project back to square one.
Very well said. This team should be a luxury to every serie A team but Allegri found a way to make them look terrible. This is what I’ve been saying from the beginning of the season. Allegri was a terrible hire for good built serie A team.
It’s a bot. “Very well said”. 😂😂😂😂
💯
Really spot.
I so much detest those that keep supporting Allegri, even when it’s so obvious.
PLAY LEAO AND PULISIC ON TBE MFCKING WINGS FOR FCKS SAKE!!!
PLAY WINGERS…… I dunno…. ON THE FCKING WINGS!!! The site need to open up the curse words for this one, it’s warranted for special occasions.
Geezus f Christ. How hard is that to do??
Why when you’re down a goal you ALWAYS change to a 433? Doesn’t that mean your initial tactics have been wrong. And it’s been wrong all season.
The last 4 seasons goal contributions in Milan
Leao: 26, 28, 28, 23
Puli: 25, 27
And these are the two players you leave on the bench to start a must-win game?? Allegri needs to get the fck outta here .
This is what he did to those two this season: Puli 14 gc, Leao 13. That’s all on Allegri boring a$$ ball.
I told y’all he’s a fraud. His real level is his second stint at Juve. Anyone can win the league when there’s only one team around.
And while we’re at it blame whoever contracted this squad. A squad that suits no formation whatsoever (besides potentially a 433 which THIS coach is not known for ). Boy I tell you! Insane! Absolutely insane!
How a 200 year old player runs faster and better than all of our players and his first time in the league? Smh. How your centre back can dribble and hold the ball better than your striker? Smh!
Anyways, Europa League it is. How far we’ve fallen in such a short time. Each year Maldini has been more and more vindicated. Watching these fools ruin the club. Each year passes and that firing seems worse and worse. This year we did better and worse at the same time. Don’t know if you laugh or cry
Get over your Maldini fetish. If you don’t know why he was sacked, go back and look at who he signed in his last season.
Go back and look at the trophy he won that your boyfriend and hero Gerry can only wish he can win.
What a loser! You talking about signings, Maldini stays winning. All these signings after Maldini and none of them doing anything, winning anything. And if you bring up super Copa I’ll mail you my laughter.
Open your eyes and look what has happened to the club instead of being so far up Gerry’s a$$
You happy with 8th and 5th? You MUST have thing for mediocrity/Gerry
This has been explained many times, you’ve had years to understand yet you still don’t.
Maldini was fired for CDK & Origi & for losing Cana, Donarumma & Kessie for nothing. Kjaer, Ibrahimovic and Giroud had to be replaced, management didn’t trust Maldini was up to the task. Sacking the SD is consistent with how the owners operate.
Thank you, not much people truly understand that. We constantly lost our top players for nothing and replaced them with dry loan players, overpriced players and bad free agents. Under maldini Milan was paying origi 4.5 mil but played hard ball with kessie and hakan. We spent a big fraction of our summer budget on one player that didn’t pan out
Ummm no. That’s what you’ve contrived as THE reason why Maldini was fired, just as I assume it’s Gerry’s ego. That’s not the entire reason (it could be part mind you) because if it is someone would have been fired for Chukwueze, a 28m flop who has the same goal contributions per game as Origi (0.08). At least Origi was free. Chuk’s price was 28 million plus wages that were higher than Origi, so he costed more than Origi and flopped just as badly. And no one got fired for that? What about Musah? I could go on and on. CDK and Origi are feeble fallback excuses when the management afteerwars had their own multiple versions of CDK and Origi. Who fires a director that just led a team to a UCL semi? Regardless of whether you think he’s blowing money or not.
The closest reasoning publicly we have as to why he was fired was given by Scaroni who said that he felt that Maldini felt uncomfortable, he wasn’t a good team player and that he wasn’t needed anymore re: he was used for attracting top players when Milan was at a low point and now that he lifted them out of the hole they were in they discarded him. By firing Maldini they can now “work in Harmony”. Scaroni’s words, not mine or yours. So get your stuff straight.
THIS is what I never understood. Before when we had Giroud, we had Leao and Pulisic on wings and things were looking good. Then lost Giroud, and with no striker – plays these guys, our best scoring threats in the middle – a position they aren’t comfortable in, but they tried and were OK at best. Then you get a couple of strikers in and instead of letting them go back to their positions, you call them center strikers and move them to the bench. So now you’ve got Puli and Leao on the bench with other players less talented than them playing in their natural positions. WHY WHY??
Let’s try posting for the upteenth time now…
Can this site even handle all the anger coming down this way? A lot of angry fingers at work right now.
The sad thing is that this is probably the best thing that could have happened to Milan. Nothing gets Gerry’s attention like a pocketbook hit which this most certainly is. If I am any of the better players, I’m getting out of Milan ASAP. Mike, Chris, Rafa, Modric, Rabiot if he can find a suitable club… Down to bare bones and back to mediocrity that frankly we never got out of.
It’s easy to point the finger at Allegri and he certainly deserves some of the blame for the football he chose to play. But objectively his options were limited, no one at Milan reinforced him in the way he needed and frankly that is also a result of him being a knee jerk appointment to a club that never looked at him as first choice.
For me most of the blame is with Gerry and the idiots he put in charge. It’s been a monumental level of incompetence the past four years. Truly on another level. I bet they can’t get out of the country soon enough at this point. Sadly though, Gerry is t going anywhere. Not until the stadium is built and he sells.
The question is has he learned anything from this consecutive implosion in his face? Will he structure the club in any competent way and let people who know what they are doing to take the reins? Or will we be Toulouse 2.0?
Can’t wait to find out. Should be an explosive summer.
Great summary. Not sure about the pocket thing, though. Europa League only gives them an excuse to sell more players than they probably wouldn’t have sold had we qualified for the CL. Isn’t this basically why the game felt so important, since none of us was actually going to celebrate the top 4 with fireworks. Last season’s 8th place resulted with an immediate top sale, Furlani was promoted, Zlatan stayed, Scaroni stayed, Moncada stayed. They simply don’t care as long as the books are good and they are, especially when you become a mediocre, selling team.
I see you still don’t understand the importance of staying out of debt and pushing the false narrative that the biggest spending club in the league are somehow a selling club.
“The question is has he learned anything from this consecutive implosion in his face? Will he structure the club in any competent way and let people who know what they are doing to take the reins? Or will we be Toulouse 2.0?”
This is a guy (Gerry) who boasted of a broad network of sporting professionals and experts under his portfolio. I’m yet to see if we’ve received any of said expertise. Because clearly we’re lacking
Listen, you can give allegri the players he wants and this would have still been the reality. My juve friends used to tell me all the time how much they suffered having him as coach and now I suffer too. You seriously cant tell me this team on paper isn’t good enough to finish top 4. This season was way worse than last year because at least we had champions league commitments and played some very good games and made it to the coppa Italia finals. This year we had nothing to play for and not once was the game we played pretty. It all comes down to the management who picked allegri, allegri for his brutal tactics and a few players. But once again, this team was certainly good enough to make top 4. Allegri can make Manchester city look like Lecce. He has a special gift.
100%
Such a pathetic end to the season.
10 points in the last 10 games that followed the derby.
We have zero potency in attack in these games. In these final 10 games (where we started just 7 points behind Inter in second) we have scored 9 goals and conceded 15. The goals scored were from:
Pavlovic
Rabiot
Fofana
Rabiot
Pavlovic
Nkunku (P)
Nkunku (P)
Athekame
Saelemaekers
A pathetic contribution from the actual forwards.
I know Allegri wasn’t given the many of the squad choices he wanted. But he has been incapable of creating a plan B or any real cohesion in attack.
And to top it all off. Had we scraped a draw in this game that would have been enough to win the head to head over Como.
LOL, **** Cardinale, Furlani, Moncada, Scaroni, Allegri and all of Returd. Straight back to Banter Era.
And **** this commenting system with it’s “slow down” message.
Get rid of RedBird and dinosaur Allegri and bring back the goat Maldini. This is a disgrace
Maldini is going to Fenerbahce
😂😂😂😂😂 No, he is not.
Only IF Hakan Safi wins the election.
Allegri is surely done. If all he needed to keep his job was to beat Cagliari, he, certainly, made a mess of it. Good thing is, we’re not going to rush into getting another coach, and, no more “Allegri football”. I don’t see any big club, in the league, hiring him for now. His style sucks.
Cardinale will not sell….Milan’s value just plummeted. He will fire everyone else, but his ego will not let him leave Milan a loser. Modric has probably seen enough and who wants to play for a club not in the CL? The irony is Allegri will end up at another club, playing CL football. That would be just cruel.
good job Roma
good job Como
Juv is a good team
Milan is just a student in serie A lmao
I said at the begining Massimilano Alegri is nit best coach for Milan . Consesao is better . He needs time to change something for this team . Please vive time for him(Coansaesao). At the moment all of them were deaf. I didn’t accept Allegri to become Milan coach. He is not fit for milan The solution is back Maldini & bring Pep Guardiola & change the owner & rubbish mgt. We don’t want to see Allevri next season & keep some best players like maguine , pulisic, leo, Gimenez pavlovic, Rabiot &same younger defenders & Midfielders.
Well, that was bad. Allegri has set the team up this year to defend(at the cost of the attack) and yet they can’t defend set pieces. I’d imagine most of the actual talented players(Modric, Rabiot, Pulisic, Maignan) will want to leave. Good news is the World Cup is coming up!
Yet another YEAR ZERO.
What a torment.
Europa league and scudetto are still concrete and reasonable target for next year.
Yes, but it depends on the strategy. Tare and Allegri were safe, conservative choices. Now we need a dynamic approach.
Milan just need 10 players to fix the issue.
4 defenders
4 midfielders
2 forwards
A draw was all we needed at the end of the day…cruel fate
Just gutted.
I can say whatever I like about not supporting this club but it’s hard to give up.
It’s like a drug.
Gutted for Allegri, for Maignan, for Tomori, for Gabbia, for Saelemaekers, for Leao..
The people who are part of Milan’s history. Scudetto winners. All of them.
Then there were the ones that were slowly building their history: Pavlović, Bartesaghi, Rabiot, Modric and Pulisic.
All if that is at stake.
Allegri (rightly) is probably gone having failed to achieve his own objective. Football is cruel.
The players?
I have a bad feeling about most.
They will give up on some (maybe this season will break Bartesaghi as the club signs endless LBs now).
Rabiot and Modric might move on.
Leao is probably finished.
What’s left?
What’s there to support?
A bunch of randomers next year?
What is the point?
Yo my man, what are you on about? Your club just qualified for CL, you can’t just give up on the now!
Disappointed at you Ted with that attitude…
(And the club that’s passing itself off as having a connection to my old town of Como is nothing of the sort.)
I feel the same way you do however I just don’t feel bad for Allegri.
I was certain we needed an experienced Italian old school coach to reset the base, especially in defense, someone with pedigree of winning.
Today I can say , I honestly do not know what Allegri was doing in Milanello all week as the team plays absolute terrible football. Terrible.
Only Maignan has seemed to improve under Allegri every other player has regressed, to the point we were run ragged by Cagliari who could have won 1-4 easily. This was the most important game of the season and they produce a match of that level. Embarrassing and pitiful.
We start the rebuild once again , always back to square one it seems, what can we do if we have passion for this team? We keep following.
Allegri needs to go though , not for the first time the winning coaches who return rarely do well, they need to start again with a coach and staff who can bring back positive, attractive football at least.
With Allegri it’s simple – he’s one of only 3 coaches this century to win a Scudetto with Milan.
We need to get THAT into our heads for so many reasons.
First we need to actually respect our history. And winning 1/3 Scudetti this century or even 1/19 overall makes you part of history.
Whether or not you like the style of play, or the personality, is irrelevant.
This is a critical part of Milan. People talk about its ‘history’ and then don’t respect it. It’s history is the managers, players and people who brought it success.
Second it’s important for grounding people. Milan have only won 3 x Scudetti (and 2 x Champions League and 1 x Coppa Italia ) this century.
When people talk about ‘not Milan quality’ they need to recognise the level Milan is at.
They’re in danger of becoming a Sleeping Giant.
And that is fundamental in reducing expectations, and removing pressure off the team so that the club can build a long term strategy.
All of the chopping and changing (and not backing youth players) is to chase some imagined past.
The last time Milan had a sustained success i.e. the 1990s (NOT the decade where Milan only won 1 x Scudetto from 2000-2010) was when they had foundations.
It was the same with Barca when they lost their way after the 1990s but then re-discover their identity under Guardiola. That was a side built on solid foundations. Not Messi. Pujol.
We need to get the notion out of our heads that there are these mythical players from the past that had super human abilities. They just played together for a very long time. THAT was the secret.
With Allegri going (and I support that probability) it just means restarting again. If they don’t hire an Italian manager it could spell the end for Gabbia and Bartesaghi just like when Allegri was last fired and that spelt the end for De Sciglio and Cristante.
I’d support a young Italian coach who will support Italians.
Sorry but first you talk about history and then you go on and say we need to forget “imagined past”?
This imagined past, the worldwide recognition because of our past glory days is what keeps bringing in money. We’re not a Red Bull club although they try to run it like one. Players here need to feel the weight of the shirt on their shoulders although it’s been 20 years since our glory days. If we remove that pressure, we remove that DNA. Isn’t that something you talk about all the time?
Not when the pressure is built on BS.
The idea that Sebastian Rossi, Tassotti, Costacurta, Evani, Massaro and Simone were superhuman.
They weren’t.
They are average players who played with better players for a long time.
All of them would’ve struggled to be in Serie A nowadays let alone at Milan.
The imagined past (and corruption) is what caused Milan to give up on the likes of Calabria, Locatelli and Cutrone. All three should’ve been the foundations of the current Milan alongside Gabbia.
This cannot happen overnight. It needs time to build. In the context of where Milan are NOW not the past.
The past is the guide NOT the anvil that hangs around players’ necks and causes them to crumble against Cagliari at home.
If allegri and furlani are the first to go, there may be somr light at the end of the tunnel. If allegri does stay, I’ll pull one from your books and say that I probably wont watch milan next season. Whats the point? Allegri had an objective and he missed out on it but wvery step of the wya the tactics he set out for his team were disgusting. Never have I been so distracted from watching milan play and that’s all him because he did it to juve too. I cant even make valuations of the players because everyone under allegri looked so bad and if he did stay i wouldn’t blame players like pulisic and leao asking to leave because he just sucked the life out of them.
It is interesting to note that a former Manchester United player, Michael Carrick was able to take a bunch of talented players who were headed nowhere and become a real threat in the Premier League and earn a spot in Champions League next year. Something to be said for a young coach that knows how to motivate and bring the best out of a team! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out Max!
Maignan 6? He was spectacular. Deserved an 7.5 at least.
I bless myself lucky as I had been hammering down 8 half liters strong beers up to the match so fell asleep before we went down 1-2 and only woke up again after the loss but seriously heads should role and I don’t mean it figuratively.
Truly the only way this match should be enjoyed. It’s worth pointing out this rebuild that has to happen…because of the financial hit, because top players will be even less inclined to sign, because we will inevitably have to sell our better players, because we need to increase our squad by several players owing to European commitments now will go one of two ways. We buy utter tripe players on a kneejerk or we get a coach whose identity is to blood the youth which I’m all for now. A young team, strong football identity, iraola, glasner, cesc for god sake spend the decent market value money on one of the two…players (which it can’t be) or the coach
Hey Muretti sorry for the late reply but went out and drowned my sorrows and didn’t come home until midnight and just has awoken 😀
Yeah I agree we will most likely see a blood bath of players and staff leaving and it seems ike it already started with the staff. Yeah I’d also rather see youngsters play if we are not gonna qualify for Europe at least lets do it with homegrown players and then let them mature over time.
It was evident when they fired maldini.
After such great work and getting a Milan identity, not to mention long term project.
They brought furlani, who is that ?
Owner who don’t understand fotball only revenue.
Zlatan who is not suited to be a director of any sorts.
Tare who brought inn every thing Allegri didn’t need. Overpaid on all transfer, wtf was this transfer window, so much money used and overpaid and didn’t fit the team.
The team is a mess, either sell everyone and build a team for a back 3 or play 4231 or 433 as its built to do now current.
And we all know for years what we would get with allegri; terrible football. In his defense he didn’t get any players he asks for, they sold 3 good players and brought crapp, Leao injury early on -and pulisic injury when he was hitting form.
He play bad fotball but his not the fult.
Can some one tell me who is furlani? Changing Maldini with furlani, it’s like sell your gold for nickel… it might temporary go little unpin price but gold is a long term.
Allegri playing defensive approach in modern day football when you have attacking players with speed…
Cardinale needs to sell the club to someone who understands football and is ready to invest
Well maybe we have to find coach that has superior attacking skill for the team.
Arsenal won the Premier League playing defensively. Last year they didn’t because they were offensive and Arteta started playing differently to win. Which modern day football? Wtf are you talking about?
Arse-n-*nal?? They are extremely organized, often shifting into a compact mid-block or a tight backline when out of possession. That makes them on another level. Do we really need to hire Mikel?
Arsenal does actually play defensive football you moron. As the other guy said they are very organized and change tactics when they were closing in on the title. They have scored the second most goals in the premier league this season. The reason they didn’t win last season was because they bottled it at the end and was playing tight/nervous
People who understand football are those who run successful clubs. A billionaire isn’t going to appear out of thin air, buy the club and magically turn things around. The most important decision an owner has to make is appointing the right CEO who in turn will hire a SD and a coach. There is zero guarantee a new owner will do that. Given RedBird hired an experienced SD and a scudetto winning coach, those appeared to be good, is a little conservative, choices. No one was crying after we beat Inter for the season time this season. Things went download after that point. That’s football.
Did Cremonese, Udinese, Cagliari etc have better players than Milan? Nope. Failing to qualify to UCL is 100% on Allegri. He made the players play like they played.
Maignan 6? We would have lost 4-1 without him.
What he could have done better?
It’s Banter 2.0 folks. Hold on tight. It’s going to be a while. Gerry won’t sell until the stadium is done. We’re talking about at least 5 more years.
melon cycle this season : were unbeaten…were king of milan…we can takeover capolista…UCL is our main target… LOL
