PM: Bakayoko in Qatar to visit medical clinic as knee problems persist

By Oliver Fisher -

Tiemoue Bakayoko’s physical condition is causing some alarm among the Milan medical staff as he is not at 100%, a report claims.

The French midfielder arrived in the summer of 2021 from Chelsea on a two-year loan deal, but he has not played an official match this season so far which is a sign that he is not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans.

According to PianetaMilan, Bakayoko is in Doha at the moment but he is not at the World Cup nor is he on vacation. Instead, the Frenchman – in mutual agreement with Milan – is there to use a medical clinic to carry out therapy and knee strengthening work.

The player will stay there for a few days and then join the team during the retreat in Dubai which will begin on December 11, with the hope of regaining his condition ahead of the second part of the season.
