AC Milan are keen on signing Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese as the situation regarding his representative has become clearer, a report claims.
The Argentine playmaker dragged Udinese to safety again this season amassing 18 goal contributions (9G, 9A) in 36 Serie A games, but now it seems that he is ready for the leap to a top club where he can compete for trophies.
PianetaMilan report that many have claimed De Paul is now a client of Mino Raiola, but according to their information the 26-year-old is not represented by him as he seems inclined to stay with his current entourage for the moment.
Milan are interested in De Paul, but it is clear that a possible passage of the player into Raiola’s hands would complicate things a lot after the Gianluigi Donnarumma affair. Beyond that, there remains the difficulty in the fact that Udinese want €40m to part with their jewel.
Maldini and Massara will try to lower the asking price by inserting a counterpart such as Tommaso Pobega. Nonetheless, the directors believe that De Paul may be the right name to improve the squad available to Stefano Pioli and De Paul is a target.
