AC Milan are ready to offer French goalkeeper Mike Maignan a new contract which would see him earn around €4-4.5 million per season, a report claims.
As has been reported by Pianeta Milan, the Rossoneri are putting the wheels in motion to secure the future of Maignan after his superb recent form.
It is no secret that there are big teams such as Manchester United potentially on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and Maignan would be an ideal target.
Even though his current contract still runs until 2026, Milan feel the need to cover themselves. They would like the new deal to run until 2027 or 2028.
Maignan is currently paid €2.8 million net per season but this new contract, if he were to agree straight away, would see him earn €4-4.5 million.
Having recently secured the renewals of Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer, Stefano Pioli wants other key players to be protected from the transfer market.
