According to PianetaMilan, Papu Gomez is almost certain to leave when the windows open next month and while the player is pushing for his contract to be terminated, Atalanta want a loan with option to buy at €15m.

The man to make ends meet could be Mattia Caldara, who is on loan at Atalanta until June, and the Nerazzurri have an option to buy set at €15m. Therefore, with the valuations matching up, a swap deal could very well take place.

However, the list of suitors for Papu Gomez is long as Lazio, Fiorentina, Torino, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the running.

To accelerate and make Atalanta happy, Milan are also aiming at two other Nerazzurri talents. The first is Matteo Pessina who Milan have a 50% future resale clause, and therefore he could could arrive for only €6m. The second is Sam Lammers who could be ideal as a deputy Zlatan Ibrahimovic and would cost €9m.

In essence, Milan could offer €15million plus Caldara for free for the full package. Paolo Maldini studies how to move forward.
