PM: Milan agree contract as Chiesa says yes to Milan move – talks with Fiorentina begin

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have apparently agreed personal terms with Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa and are pushing to try complete a deal.

The Rossoneri were linked with a move for the 22-year-old forward a few weeks ago but things seemed to go quiet as the management appeared to focus on the midfield trio Tiemoue Bakayoko, Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz.

However, ViolaNews then reported on Monday night that Milan and Juventus are the two clubs hoping to land Chiesa, while Tuesday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanLive) confirmed Milan have held talks with agent Fali Ramadani over a deal.

According to Louis Girardi of Pianeta Milan on Twitter, Milan and Chiesa have even reached an agreement on his potential contract. Ramadani, the player’s father Enrico Chiesa and a ‘Mr.X’ are at work for a possible closure of the deal with Fiorentina.

The help from this ‘Mr.X’ – currently not named – could be crucial to the successful negotiation. Chiesa has also given his approval to Maldini regarding the move.

    1. confusion ? yeah for the opposition. Assuming we get brahim on a loan with a buyout option and buyback clause for madrid im sure brahim will be down in the pecking order and mainly be there to have more depth within the squad. Chiesa though would be an instant starter and if tonali is a statement then chiesa would be a clear confirmation that we will compete for the scudetto allready this season.

  1. Im pretty sure that federico chiesa at some point said he had been a milan fan as well as a kid but not only that his father also said he would have loved to join us in his career and had van basten as his favourite player or something so wouldnt really at this point be too surprised if we actually manage to get a hold of the player. We would be a direct challenger for the scudetto with chiesa, tonali, bakayoko and brahim added to our squad,

      1. Thanks Milandrie

Sissa, well if we can play great and consistently like after the lockdown ended plus the additions of the new players that are currently up in the air well then i dont see no reason why we wouldn to be honest. Obviously it would also be necessary for the squad to stay fairly injury free the comming season.

    1. Milan is going back to the glory days I believe in Milan and I will cross the see just to see the historical San siro
