AC Milan are ‘very confident’ that they will agree new deals with both Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims.
According to the latest from PianetaMilan, the Milan management are feeling good about the fact they have created a dressing room with a great sense of belonging that has not been seen for years. Even players who might be distracted by transfer market issues are focused on doing well.
Donnarumma and Calhanoglu are both on contracts which are set to expire on June 30th of this year, meaning theoretically they would be free to sign with any other club, but Milan are feeling calm.
The goalkeeper has always been a Rossoneri fan, he grew up with Milan and would never leave for free. There is a small distance between offer and demand to be solved, and the most likely situation is a two-year extension, i.e. a solution that allows Gigio to assess whether Milan’s growth has been truly definitive and one that allows Milan to be able to raise their offer in the future.
Milan are calm regarding Calhanoglu too, and the playmaker is one of the leaders of the current team. Again, there is a small difference between offer and demand, but eventually the renewal will take place. Neither Calhanoglu nor Donnarumma intend to leave on a free, and Milan are ready to make an effort effort to try to please them.
