AC Milan are trying to keep Brahim Diaz beyond the expiry of his loan spell at the end of the season, according to a report.
Brahim Diaz joined Milan on a season-long dry loan from Real Madrid last summer and has so far amassed seven goals and five assists in 37 games across all competitions, including eight goal contributions in 24 league games with most being appearances off the bench.
PianetaMilan reports that there may be some surprising news. While buying the 21-year-old on a permanent deal is practically impossible due to Real Madrid’s desire not to lose control of Brahim, Milan are working on renewing the loan.
The Spaniard is pushing to stay with head coach Stefano Pioli and technical director Paolo Maldini also satisfied with his performances. Furthermore, relations with Real Madrid are excellent, so it has therefore become probable that Brahim will remain at least one more season at Milan.
