PM: Two domestic options emerge in Milan’s hunt for a new right winger

AC Milan could undergo a mini-revolution of sorts on their right flank this summer with a couple of Serie A wingers attracting interest, a report claims.

According to PianetaMilan, there are plenty of doubts about the right wing role given that Samu Castillejo is expected to be sold, Junior Messias will soon see his loan deal expire and Alexis Saelemaekers could also be used to generate funds.

There are a number of targets in the sights of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara including Nicolò Zaniolo (Roma), Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo), Charles De Ketelaere (Club Brugge), Marco Asensio (Real Madrid) and Antony (Ajax).

However, it must not be discounted that a ‘surprise’ profile may arrive and there are two players currently playing in Serie A that could well respond to that notion in Matteo Politano and Hamed Traoré.

The former is leaving Napoli because Gerard Deulofeu is set to come in and take his place, while the latter is a player that Maldini and Massara have already talked to the agents of but Sassuolo are looking for €30m to sell.
