CM: Pobega has convinced Torino after three games – Vagnati has a plan to keep him

By Oliver Fisher -

Torino are already convinced that they want to make an attempt to keep Tommaso Pobega beyond the end of the season, a report claims.

Pobega returned from his loan at Spezia in the summer and there was some doubt about what the future held for the Italy U21 international. At first it seemed he was destined to be sold for a capital gain, then he seemed certain to stay, and eventually he was sent on loan to Turin to further his development.

According to Calciomercato.com, it didn’t take Tommaso Pobega long to win the trust of Ivan Juric and earn a fixed starting spot in the Torino line-up. Early in the season Pobega has convinced the coach, fans and the management, so much so that their director Davide Vagnati would like to open a negotiation with Milan in order not to lose him at the end of the season.

Vagnati’s goal is to obtain at least the renewal of the player’s loan but this time not a dry loan, as he wants an option to buy inserting as part of the deal. So far Pobega has one goal in three league appearances.

  1. Pobega is going to be one important piece of our midfield next so you better forget any deal after the loan is over! Pobega is going to wear our Red and Black shirt next season not that weird red shirt of yours!

  2. Why would they sell him, and why would he go to Torino when there were better clubs already asking about him? 😀 I love these joke articles.

    1. Deemed not compatible by people who have no vision, no faith, and no idea people can learn to play more than only 1 way….

The same people would have also thought Pirlo wasn’t a deep lying playmaker until we tried it. Same people who thought Tonali couldn’t play in a double pivot… oh wait……. Same people who think real life is like Fifa on xbox but it’s not. These are professional athletes and all we’re asking Pobega to do is learn a double pivot. Pretty sure he can learn it in a mere handful of weeks. If you watched pre-season you’d also see he played well each and every game… in a double pivot btw… and that was with barely any time.

Sorry for text wall I just get very irritated at these sentiments as they’re really misguided.
