Tommaso Pobega and Sandro Tonali are expected to start in the midfield for AC Milan in their friendly against ZTE later on today, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Pobega could be getting another chance to show why he should be getting lots of minutes in the coming campaign.
It is very likely that the former Torino loanee, Tonali, Ismael Bennacer and whoever else arrives in the final month or so of the window will be competing for the same two spots in Stefano Pioli’s midfield.
Despite being linked with a move away, Ante Rebic is expected to start the game on the left side of the attacking quartet after a very good performance in the last friendly against FC Koln.
Junior Messias could line up on the right which is an area where Pioli wants to get a new player signed before the end of the window.
Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Kalulu, Tomori, Hernandez; Tonali, Pobega; Messias, Brahim Diaz, Rebic; Giroud.
Subs: Tatarusanu, Mirante, Calabria, Gabbia, Michelis, Ballo-Touré, Bakayoko, Bennacer, Saelemaekers, Adli, Krunic, Leao.
